But surely it will effect his future earning power to declare a mental illness if it's a case of him lying in order to see out til jan. tw at home in Argentina (presumably sick pay applies here).
i.e. lying is not without its setbacks in this case.
He comes across as such a dodgy cnt that you just don't know.
Not even sure he is bothered about playing football anymore. I think he has figured out a new master plan.
-Stay home in Argentina with a doctors note against travelling. Whilst milking Man City's money and run down his contract. Then at the end of the contract, he will be 'cured' and then play his retiring days for Boca.
have to hand it to him though its a pretty good plan if thats the case

Agreed, City really need to make an example of Tevez. He's the most disgusting creature in football.
There really is no correct way in order to make this go away-
Either Tevez or City have to lose money in order for them both to have their way.
Depression? I was all ready for joorabchian to come out and say he didn't miss training, he just missed his flight home.... Twice
Can City and Tevez come to an agreement where City can tear up Tevez's contract and not pay him compensation?
Seems like the best option. But seeing how he is a money grabbing hor i doubt he would even accept that!
It must be depression because a poor Dr who is now a rich Dr or possibly a Boca fan says so on a certificate allegedly
Personally, I do feel that Tevez has issues. I have thought that since the start of the whole, "wanting to leave" saga.
However, I don't think its a case of just ripping up his contract. I think that he should have to pay a huge amount of compensation to City or else he has got himself out of this contract a little too easily and it would send a pretty bad message to any other player who wants to leave their club.
"Either Tevez or City have to lose money in order for them both to have their way. "
I suspect both will lose money before this is resolved. But it needs careful handling or players will have all become bigger than the clubs.
Trouble is now if we let him go and take a massive hit financially, it will just be a bench mark for ALL other agents and players to use as a bargaining tool against their clubs,,
As much as I would like to say just get rid and then sue, we can afford to fight for our money.
IMO we must do everything in our power to show the world of football that Tevez came out of this mess worse off not the club so when little snidy tw @ts like kia thingy start to whisper in players ears (look do this and i'll get you another £20k) players will think Oh yes and what happened to Tevez??? fo ok off
He's depressed??? I'm depressed i've just spent 5 mins of my live writing this
The best is that he and his advisers see no reason for further disciplinary action or fines over this latest fiasco. Oh really!!! Oh how nice it must be in the rarefied atmosphere of their off-worldly planet.
I think we should stop paying him immediately and fine him the maximum possible. Then sack him and tie him up in the courts for the rest of his playing lifetime. And I am being as nice as I can be.

Bit late for that pal.
He went on to quote Fleetwood Mac...
I'm not sure how suffering from depression prevents a patient from travelling by air.
Generally 'no fly' instructions from a doctor relate to the contagious nature of a complaint x
^ I was trying to understand the 'no fly' issue too. Especially considering he flew to argentina in the first place....unless he maraculously became depressed as soon as he landed in Argentina.
Tevez SHOULD buy out his contact. Which is alot of money! I think about 36mil?! If he had done this earlier, he could have walked, and someone would have bought him, but after all this I don't think many clubs are looking into buying him, it isn't worth it.
We know what Tevez is like. He seems do be doing all he can to get paid ridiculous wages AND play elsewhere. Which as i explained earlier, was possible, but not now.
City have a hard decision to make.
1. Let him go - Good: He won't be about anymore. Bad: Tevez wins, and player power is evident in the club.
2. Keep the the - Good: Tevez loses, and is rightly punished for his attitude. Bad: He will be paid stupid amounts of money for nothing, could disrupt City's title bid with more antics.
Would love Carlos to go through what I have been through these last 16 yrs.
1 operation to remove cancer cells in 1995. Then go through Chemo twice in 2 yrs in 1997 then again in 1998. Have another operation in 2001 to remove no cancerous cells in my throat.
Then a couple of yrs later have to go through angio-plasty where they crush all the fatty deposits in your heart, and this they do while you are a wake. This was done on my main artery into the heart.
Then with in the last 28 months I have lost my father, mother, brother, as well as a couple of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Then this poor little guy who is earning nowhere near what most people will earn in a life time says he is depressed. Depressed he dossen't know the meaning of the word depressed. I am the 1 that is feeling depressed after what I ahve been through.
