I would go with Zaheer, Umesh, Sreesanth/Aaron + Ojha, Ashwin as the first choice for tests.
Praveen for Umesh in ODIs.
What do you think will be the best combination of fast bowlers and spinners in Australia?

Define "fast"?
Apart for Praveen, they are all fast. Atleast faster than their Pakistani counterparts.
That's fast enough for us.
Listen Afridi14, if you can't keep it to topic, don't poke your nose at every India article.
Ishant is poor but will go due to those bouncy SCG and MCG tracks as he is the tall one. How you can even put Sreesanth in the list is laughable, isnt it time you got shot of him and used the 2 new young bowlers?
Swat, chill out fella....... How come RP Singh not on list?
I always found Sreesanth worth the gamble in tests. Sure he flopped in England, but he can be exceptional at times.
it seems plenty of idiots r trying to poke their noses in ,
any way i think zak, ishant, umesh, praveen and varun are my picks for quicks and ashwin and ojha as spinners.
i dont think ishant is poor i think he is learning his trade and he is only 22 and he has done very well in the recent past and always lacked support.
and no sreesanth BCCI should offer him voluntary retirement
Zaheer, Ishant, Praveen/Yadav/Aaron and Ojha.
Also, replace Yuvraj with Kohli.

I now recall three "new" member names since a week or so back, that all post with an odd similarity in theme and content. Anyway - back to the thread - I really hope some of the "quicks" work on their fitness (learning from the England series in the Summer) - then there could be a good contest.

Zaheer, Ishant, Praveen , ashwin and Ojha.
I expect them to do well .They will be physically in better shape than compared to the tour of England. and Zaheer and Ishant have been relatively successful Down Under.Additionally, Aussies batting has been exposed and I dont expect them to dominate Indian attack.
The problems will be in the field for India.. Australia will run them raggered.. Going in with 4 bowlers might be a problem. If they go in with 5 will weaken the batting.. Australia will win at home am certain of that...

does this afridi14 guy thinks he's a great wum or is he always talk from his a rse...?
coming to the article, apart from gabba most of the aussie pitches are now batsman friendly. i would go with zaheer, umesh, varun, and sreeshanth. for sreeshanth this is his last chance to succeed and hope for his best performance.
