Thudd,

I know, I would prefer us buying the OS, but in this economic climate I can understand our strategy in renting the OS.

There is a Business Plan in operation with regards to our future.

I personally believe that we should develop Upton Park, but as you know the location as it stands could not sustain an influx of an addition 10 to 15K supporters due to the highway infrastructure and the public transport system.

The alternative solution is like yourselves...build a purpose build stadium...but as your probably aware land and access comes at a high cost...and in today's economy isn't observed as viable or in our financial position...possible.

As supporters, we speculate...but at the end of the day its the Board who make the decisions!

Hey look if your sorry excuse for a club don't get docked points for a serious on-field discretion (i.e fielding unregistered players) then I reckon we're safe on this one. Anyway didn't Brady used to do the 'adult' phone lines advertised in The Sport? It's highly unlikely anything from her tapped phone will be any more 'revealing' than them.

I prefer the term “incorrectly registered” . However you make a fair point. As I said at the start of this article my view is that a team should only ever have points deducted for match fixing, fielding “incorrectly registered” players did not constitute match fixing.

In this case the alleged action were clearly not linked to on field events, so if it can be proven that Spurs or Levy were complicit in the illegal activities it will be a legal case for any Spurs employees involved. It could/may however lead to Levy being declared an unfit person, but I doubt he is foolish enough to be directly linked into this.

At most we will get fined financially!

Some low level person will do jail time, and it will be swept under the carpet!

England does not need this prior to the Olympics

It suits all partys imo, West Ham get to rent the OS, we get to stay in North London and build a nice new stadium, and athletics continues at the OS

Everyones a winner here

Exactly, Levy says "Make sure we know what's going on" (maybe with a wink).

2nd Level employee says "Keep a really close eye on the West Ham and OPLC board" (with a big wink).

3rd Level idiot goes to this firm and allegedly says "Hack thier phones and raid their bins"

I'm not a fan of Levy but he is not stupid enough to leave a "smoking gun" in a case like this, unless.....

I should think anyone who has been tapping phone conversations between Brady and Sullivan / D1ldo Bros is probably undergoing serious psychiatric treatment (especially if twas about the ad breakdown in the Sports) .

Exactly! I doubt Levy would be as stupid as to hire someone to hack phonecalls and emails
