He got abused for being French from a fan and kicked him, it hardly paints him as an angel but I don't think anyone can deny that people who hold the view that other nationality's are somehow worth less than their own are hardly the shining beacons of civilisation.

What am I reading here? Liverpool fans are accused of belittling the race incident and this is clear that some united fans do the same with the Cantona assault.

Thats a bit desparate. The poster does not at any point suggest that they condone racism. Just that they dont believe the FA has any evidence of racial abuse. If you think that they are one and the same then you are even more stupid than I had originally feared.

Show me one post that CONDONES racism, or racist remarks. That post, whilst a stupid comparsion, does not at any point suggest racism is a forgivable action.

That's wrong. For me, as a decent guy I dont share this view. If i did act the maggot at a football match, a fan should NOT be assaulted.
