Sorry, the surname is Beye not Feye.

He was good for us then left when we got relegated saying he wanted a bigger club and went to Villa .
He might do a job for you but I wouldnt take him back and isnt getting on now?

Another defender.
Can Mr Saunders not see the obvious problems in midfield?
I still say sort out the midfield with a player who can tackle and the pressure on our defence will diminish

He was class for us - a different level to anyone else at the club at the time. He gave his all and he was great too.

When we went down, he left, but he didn't kick off about it, he just said he wanted to play in the EPL and did.

Villa fans didn't take to him and he went downhill. He definitely has 'it' though

Thank you the Boss and Booooooom for the information, I had read that he was your player of the year and a well liked player. It's good to get the confirmation from you.

You're clutching at straws mate. I know you and I want the best for our team but the season, i'm sad to say is all over. Unless we get an experienced manager.

I don't agree 1Pel, I do think we were a gonner with SoD in charge as he had completely lost his confidence. This was not helped when JR walked out of the ground at Derby when Wilson was brought on as a sub.

On top of SoD losing cofidence in himself, the Board and players lost it in him. I do think Saunders talks a good game, but he does need an experienced hand to go with him and lead him, in on field matters. I think he does well and is a players manager off the field.

I do think it is good to see the likes of Chimbonda etc saying how much they are enjoying their game and passing this onto other possible signings. So long as we get out of the bottom four I don't care how we do it so long as we don't break FA and Football League rules.

I really dont think we should keep running Sean down it is only opening wounds. We are all in the same boat and we know we are fighting for survival. Some of us just do not fully support the anti Sean comments.

Beye, signs to the end of the season, DS make it work we have needed this gap filling for some time.

I don't care how we get out of this either. But I simply do not think it's possible now. I'm not normally as negative as this but I'm sorry we will need a miracle of earth shattering magnitude. We did it once but lightening rarely strikes twice in the same place.

This league is tougher than most through out Europe, maybe even the world, right now.

You need to go to Alex's shop 1Pel, as I said to Fuzzy you can get half full glasses. They are a lot better than the half empty type.

The only problem is that when what you hope for doesn't happen you fall with a heavier thud.

Alex, I was asked for my opinion, I was not knocking SoD any more than I have already, youv'e known my views about him for a lot longer than the day he was fired.

newyankee44 if there is one thing i've learned in my life it is how to soften that thud.

But one thing is for sure I've always fought for the cause what ever it is. I don't see any know how or fight in DRFC right now. The confidence and football is dire. Why, I do wounder?

Where is Alex's shop?

NY perhaps we should all steer clear of such comments for fear of opening old wounds, we have to move on.
Personally I have decided to take the view that at last our biggest weakness may well be filled with Beye.
With all these quality players coming in we must be a better team and our results must improve. I will not accept injuries as an excuse for a poor performance.

I will be playing golf with a Watford supporter on Wednesday and my fingers are crossed we can get 3 points Tuesday. Dont let me down DS

Pel,
my glasses are a little opaque at the moment but normal service will be resumed on Tuesday night.

NY shall I tell you something about Chimbonda, how interested he is in Rovers and the fans?

Yesterday, apart from the 16 that were on the teamsheet, several Rovers players travelled. Dumbuya, G. Woods, Baxendale and Chimbonda. The first 3 spent pre-match having a joke with each other and coming over to the away fans and signing autographs/having pictures etc. (Actually even Billy stopped to do that as he left the pitch after warm up)

Chimbonda spent the whole pre-match warm up stood apart from his team mates and the Doncaster fans, on his laptop, with his headphones on and the only person he spoke to was a Barnsley steward

lets be a little positive. 1 ugly centre half signed and Locky back, and YES he is better than Sick note Martis and Dingle Naylor

Trouble is Lanzo, we lose Lockwood for THREE games due to his sending off, which I gather was abit harsh. Maybe the club will contest it .

Again Donny Lass being that I am 3,500 miles away I am not privy to what you saw. However, going on interviews etc I get the impression hChimbonda IS enjoying his time. As a mercenary he does not have to do school visits but he and Ilunga have been.

Now 6 points adrift & not scoring goals or keeping a clean sheet.I think that we are well & truly fecked with this outfit.Management meltdown! What a load of winkers!Isn't
there anyone in this management team that knows how to organise a football team?

Pressures getting to me Spike!

posted on 21/11/11

NY,
Having seen replays of the sending off I think we will appeal the red card.
Spike are you going to the Millwall game?

posted on 21/11/11

I imagine we'll appeal the red - after all we can't get a loan deal for Lockwood if he's banned for 3 games

posted on 21/11/11

I'm hoping to get to Millwall as I do every game but I've still to find somebody to take over my caring duties for that that day. I haven't given up hope yet though.

NY

As a contracted - however short term member of the club I would imagine Chimbonda has to do school visits etc as much as anyone else. And he's not going to say he isn't enjoying it, McKay freely admitted in the press Diouf didn't want to come to Doncaster. Our players are saying how good it is for these players to come to Rovers but I don't believe they're thinking that privately, if the show of team spirit is anything to go by

Mind you if I was injured and they dragged me to Oakwell to watch a performance like that I think I'd not be feeling like joking either
