esctosh old chap
You accused NEIL LENNON of making an accusations against officials of "institutional bias against Celtic".
Be a man and admit you got it wrong.
Neil said, "I don't think Paul was speaking on behalf of the club," he said. "That was his opinion and I value his opinion obviously, but he is not speaking on behalf of myself or the club.
"I don't want to make any more comment because I will end up in the stand or have a heavy fine.
"But if you think it is fair then a lot of people are burying their head in the sand on this one.
"I find it interesting that, after all the fall-out from that game, I am the only one who has been banned."
Harry,
I didnt get it wrong. He did accuse them. It was not simply a case of moaing over poor decisions. He questioned the very reason for their decisions - as if it was institutional bias. Simple.
bhoyzilla - No. I dont question their integrity. I question their ability

Celtic spokesman claiming institutional bias against Celtic.
Harry, the previous link was over the questioning of referees INTEGRITY as I stated
------------------------
What has that got to do with Neil Lennon, who distanced himself from McBride's comments?
No, he didn't esctosh.
As has been proved by several posters, several times.
"but he is not speaking on behalf of myself or the club."
I think there's a clue in there somewhere.

So Celtic didn't think they were singled out unfairly ?
Tosh, if I remember correctly it was your former manager who first came out and actually named a linesman after what was a very marginal decision. Many people thought that to deliberately tell his own fans that the official was called Murphy was an attempt to make an inference that he was from a Catholic/Irish background.
By the way, why does McCurry not ref much these days?
He questioned the very reason for their decisions - as if it was institutional bias
no he didn't he simply wanted clarification of their reason for the decision and they made a complete erse of it and lied, lennon gets lied to from a ref yet he's the one who's in the wrong
Personally, I'd rather just put it down to refereeing incompetence. And I think we should all just accept that. Referees on England or elsewhere are no better.
At the end of the day, I think you have no cause for complaint now. Some pash decisions have certainly went in your favour recently. So perhaps we should just leeave it down to the teams - defences, keepersm striker and managers to accept responsibility when teams fail and not look for any scapegoats
That was John Reid, Esctosh. Not Lennon.
C'mon Henrik. THey are all club representatives.
What's this then? Tosh making a erchie of himself again?
Go the whole hog and give us another prediction, 14 points
I know, but I thought you were talking about Neil Lennon specifically.
Taken from Alex Ferguson's book......
Fergie and Greig remained good pals from their Ibrox days. After Fergie left Ibrox during a game Fergie and John Greig clashed violently. Fergie was sent off, the ref was about to send Greig off too, Greig warned the referee that if he did, the Club (Rangers) would make sure he never refereed a top game again. Greig was not sent off. Greig added that there was a time when Rangers could influence the SFA
Come on esctosh, you're making a fool of yourself man.
You haven't provided a single piece of evidence to back up your claim about Neil Lennon.
I can understand why you maybe thought he did. There was a lot went on last season and there were accusations flying everywhere about a lot of things.
You just remembered it wrongly is all. We all do it.
"When is the SFA going to make a statement about the amount of decisions going Celtic's way?"
This belter was broadcast on Radio Clyde 4 seasons ago and it came from Darrell King, the prince of objective reportage.
I'll post this on every article that the Bears greet aboot refs:
TWELVE Old Firm games since Rangers beat Celtic. Without either a pen against Celtic or a Celtic player being sent off.
2009 Rangers 2 Celtic 1
Celtic 55% possession
Rangers commit 19 fouls to Celtic's 16
Rangers 2 players booked
Celtic SIX players booked
Referee Craig Thomson apologies for not awarding Celtic a stonewall penalty despite being less than 4 yards away
+++++
Every time...
Darrell King is a ph@nny, a few rubbers must have skelped his head when he was at school, with a name like that!
tosh paul mcbrides not a celtic spokesman, theres nae quote from celtic about bias in that article
