He will keep his eye brow in check.
Hiddink only failed in the CL because of the fantics of a certain Mr Ovrebo. I'm convinced Hiddink would have won that competition had it not been for that farce
Great manager as he is, Ancelotti had his faults. Stubborn as a mule tactically, our team selections were so painfully predictable which just made us all the easier to play
Hiddink is better tactically, has an idea of pragmatism. You just have to look at what he accomplished from the shambles he took over from Scolari to see how good a manager he really is
You should get John Barnes in as player coach, he would ideal for Fulham`s other club.
Your billionaire will be getting bored of his hobby soon, so maybe Barnes can oversee your fall from grace.
Cockerel Barfly
Once we nab Modric off your hands you'll be able to tell us first hand experience of what a falll from grace feels like
Hiddink is a much better bet. We're hoping he will mentor his dashing young assistant to take over in a year or two.
But I fear tho that Gus might be too safe - will he just keep plugging away with the old guard? When what we really need is a new man with fresh ideas, someone inspirational and not afraid to make brave choices.
I love hiddink.
thats is all.
but sure every manager has faults like, what was wrong with mourino when he got sacked sure nouthin ye messed up with that one.. hiddink will prob get two years there but if he don't win the champions league he is out, sure it wasn't carlo that bought torres it was abramavitch, and who is signing luka modric?? not hiddink anyway, whats abramavitch employing a manager for if he is just going to undermine him and pick the team himself, he may as well be doing hiddinks job.. pure circus of a club at least the owners in man city dont pick the team in fairness
I wasn't impressed by Ancelotti's sacking at all, but hand on heart, Hiddink is a better manager. He's so tactically savvy.
Don't forget, this'll almost certainly be Hiddink's last-ever managerial position, he's never won a league title outside of Holland and only won the CL/EC once, and that was in the late 80s. He's breaking his well established moral code to grasp this opportunity ..... i dunno, call me a romantic but i've just got a feeling this could turn out to be a special period in our history.

Didn't see say after the Barca game the squad needed changing? and that was 2 years ago
Guus will possibly offer more discipline in the camp - he aint taking no cliques & player power tosh
Be nice if Wilkins comes back too...
