How would you solve this problem?

I'd be looking to bring better quailty in, in January.

You can't stay still

McCormack will have scored a few by then. Don't worry.

I do kind of agree, I mean the work rate of Keogh when he came in worked brilliantly for Ross, they played fancy football, pass and run etc ...but the last few games we've had to rely on midfielders to score our goals

Snodgrass has 3 of our last 4 goals, Clayton the other. If we'd had lost 1-0 to Burnley on Saturday, we'd have scored 3 goals in our last 5 games, and let's be fair we didn't deserve to win, and but for the great team spirit we wouldn't have done

I live in Nottingham, and work with many Forest fans, one of my best mates is a ST holder and the one thing he ALWAYS moans about..is they can't defend set pieces/corners/balls into the box, if a player can get his head to the ball he'll score

I've seen them twice this season (free tkt v Notts County in cup and the Sunday game v Birmingham) and they looked very shaky when this happened..for this, we simply MUST play Becchio against them in a weeks time

I'd say give Ross and Keogh one more game together but no matter what, switch it to Becchio & Nunez for Forest

I think Ross will get his scoring boots back. Keogh does the leg work and he got a good touch of the ball. Give them time. It will come

Pags beat me to it.

All strikers can go without goals for a few games. Beckford had his fair share of dry spells with us and he still banged in 30+ goals each season.

The best thing we can do is keep playing McCormack and Keogh. We need to show them that we still have faith in them. If we do, the goals will come back.

Tall

Look at both players histories.

Ross in one in three man,

Beckford was a 1 in 1 & 1/2 man

That s, the difference

Becchio looks even worse than Keogh and McCormack

If only Somma was fit.....

I agree LIW

Keogh looked decent when he first came but 2 goals in how many games is not good enough for a striker. It will show a lack of ambition if we try and sign him now.

On a more positive note Nunez looked good when he came on

LIW, how can you like strikers that dont score?

posted on 21/11/11

However its not just them to blame, there is a lack of creativity/pace in the team.

I'd bring Becchio back in, purely so we could switch to a midfield 5. It'd allow Snodgrass, Howson, Nunez, Sam etc. to be more involved around the goal.

Ross and Keogh are the regulars at the moment, I think Becchio is being brought back slowly and it shouldn't be to long before the Ross Becchio partnership starts!..

Many think Ross is god, I am not easily pleased,I remember last season.
As for the rubbish about Keogh,if the team are scoring and winning yes its ok,but it aint that simple.
Remember the usless Heskey, he actually played in the world cup 2010 yes its incredible incompetence, not to mention calamity James etc
However fans know nothing according to some on here

Pags with respet there is a problem.
So many die hard Leeds fans are blind.
As I said before its not just the strikers to blame,we dont look like scoring bundles like last season,Max is massive and no way in the world should have been allowed to leave for peanuts.

Agreed, whenever we went forward last season we looked like scoring past anybody, this season we don't carry the same threat when we have the ball

This is partly because in Pugh, we have a more defensive midfield, especially with Clayton keeping the ball well

But I'd rather we looked like scoring and kept few clean sheets like last season, than keeping few clean sheets and not being as threatening like this

That said, we have more points now than at this stage last season
