For this article, I expect ten 1* and no comments.
No comments because there is no way anyone can defend that clown.
what about his batting s/rate?
Does that count for nothing?
Poor wumming, swat.
For an average of 23, no it doesn't.
For an average of 23, no it doesn't.
-----------------
Of course it does.
Now, stop wumming.
It's 114 and only 43 with the ball.
Great player in ODI's.
It doesn't !!
Ginger, keeping all the prejudices about me or anyone else aside, would you call Afridi a top player ??
He is neither a batsman, nor a bowler. At most, he has been a below average bowler and a poor slogger.

-------------------------
I'm neutral and IMO he is one of the best spinners in ODI's and a bloody handy number six/seven.
Like seen the other day.
His role with the bat is to score quick near the end of an innings so s/rate does matter.
Please?
SWAT i think you have just been TOLD by Ginger.
a very stupid article indeed, just your urge to bash him says it all. he is a great player, yesterday he made it to top 10 wicket takers in ODI's of all time. He is handy with the bat too, a very good fielder and top wicket taking bowler. Dont really get it what actually takes it for you to rate someone as a top player if these factors do not count, Anyhow the person who writes such stupid article is hardly worth to be convinced with logic.

Ginger-
Ajit Agarkar took 288 ODI wickets at a strike rate 32.9, average of 27.. far better than Afridi.
Would you rate him as high going by the same logic ? No you won't.
Sehwag averages as much as Ponting in tests with a strike rate of 82 !! ?? But here again...these things won't matter.
These stats will only be relevant in order to justify a player averaging 23 with bat and 34 with ball.
No point arguing if you have already made up your mind.
As for Afridi being a bloody handy number 6/7....you are deluded. More often than not, he comes and then goes.
For this article, I expect ten 1* and no comments.

Rightly so! Give it a better try next time, and if you do I promise I would give it 5*

Key word, tests.
Sorry but it's obvious to most and probably including you that he is very very good ODI player and that every team in the world would pick him.
Wumming is an art form, I expect better next time
Lol this is so good and factual from Ginger that as a Pak fan i don't need to respond to this pathetic attempt of wumming.

India and any other country would like him in their team.
"India and any other country would like him in their team."
Could be..but that's only because of his recent improved bowling. But if you consider his whole career, he has been below average, which is the point of this whole article.

Admittidly he has come into a bit of form....but overall he is an average player...and good ODI player
He is not great or World class in either format.
Thats all im saying

this is now twenty times I have read this from neon.

And I'm saying that he is a world class spinner in ODI's and a handy number seven.
We've all got our opinions but it's clear, swat is wumming.
