That's a quote from Mick Hucknall!
Whoever gave this 1 star is a complete and utter... genius. That is the essence of the quote, after all. I applaud your masterful sense of metaphorical imagery
Darwin, I just read your comment on Choice's article and came over here and reaised how you deserve five stars and gave you them accordingly.
Who was the truly great man?
It was me I get all emotional and philosophical when I think about poor Arsene and his broken heart
I wrote 'truly great man' to throw everyone off the scent.... I'm only slightly great
The 1-star ratings have tripled already
I'm officially unappreciated in my own time!!
I am now removing the quote from the article so that I can post it elsewhere without indirectly revealing my true identity to the world.
Apologies to any later readers who don't have a clue what's going on.
I think Arsene is being disingenuous when he talks of betrayal. I don't think that made him question his position. I believe it was the stupid loyalty he put in the youngsters who did not develop. The money and time he wasted on Denilson, Eboue, Bendtner, Senderos, Diaby, Fabianski. And now the board want him to buy the way he used with Dein. A combination of youngsters and older players. But forget paying huge wages for years on end without measuring actual progression.
Cesc and Nasri were following the likes of Merida, Flamini, Hleb etc. So why should it be a surprise? Arsene gave a long interview years ago on how the best players want to leave and rubbish ones stay. This is nothing new.
