Tommy I think Everton are a big club, they are not having the best of times at the moment but I still regard them as one of the biggest clubs in England.

I think there are quite a few teams that I would class as a 'big' team:
City
United
Arsenal
Tottenham
Liverpool
Chelsea
Everton
Aston Villa
Newcastle
Sunderland
Leeds
And I could go on. Not sure how I'm defining this by the way.......
I would still add West Ham, Wolves, Derby, Forest and the two Sheffield clubs to that list
Big clubs since the PL was formed
Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Liverpool
2nd tier
Spurs, Everton, Villa, Blackburn (because they won it once)
3rd
Newcastle, Bolton, Fulham, City,
But thats my opinion! not everyone would agree, at the moment City are a big team I would say it goes
City>United>Spurs>Arsenal>Chelsea>Liverpool

I Agrre with the ones that you have mentioned.
Right i'm finished work now so I'm off. see you all soon
Yeah same here Bubbles
Personally I'd stick City in the 2nd tier but it's all opinions like you say!
I genuinely believe there are about 20 clubs which I'd call big clubs, there are no tiers IMO.
In no particular order
1. Chelsea
2. United
3. City
4. Leeds
5. Liverpool
6. Arsenal
7. Spurs
8. West Ham
9. Wolves
10. Villa
11. Newcastle
12. Everton
13. Newcastle
14. Sunderland
15. Derby
16. Forest
17. Sheff Wed
18. Sheff Utd
--------------------------------
19. Huddersfield
20. Stoke
In terms of everything. i.e fanbase, home and away following, I would say these 18+2 can be defined as big clubs.
Spot on mate, for me it's because they have a large and passionate fan base with the potential to push on should the right situation occur.
I can see why people separate United Arsenal and Liverpool, they have obviously had alot of success over the years and therefore their support is incredibly big in comparison to the other teams but all the teams mentioned are big in their own right and anything can change in football.
On that bombshell I'm goner have to get my head down, unfourtunately I've got work tomorrow......
Look below, see all the Spurs fans?

It's just banter really. They don't really mean what they say.

I dunno, I would say that 99% of Spurs fans on here are sprogs. This would mean that they do speak in incoherent smileys.
Most of em are alright - they're only really guilty of not taking this site at all seriously, and that's no bad thing.
Some of them are idiots, but then that can be said of any club's fans on here.
