i'd rather see hazard in an arsenal shirt. but it's unrealistic and i hope - providing we get gervinho - that he excells and proves himself.

Gervinho will do well, he is suited to premier league. Lille obviously only sold Gervinho instead of hazard because he has 1 year left on his contract. Another factor in this is that Gervinho rejected everyone else to join us, he really wants to play for arsenal and you can't say that about many of our players.

Having seen both of the play, I can say that I know why Hazard is valued at 10-15m more. You pay for what you get.

I would like both, but wont happen. But at this moment i'd take gervinho. We need a player who is developed now, not one who will get good then be tapped up by barca 2 years down the line.
I know hazard is good, but he looks like he will struggle in the premiership. He will need at least a season to adapt.imo. Where as gervinho looks ready made, Looks strong powerful and direct. Thats what we need, we have to many players who put their foot on the ball, pass it side ways or do some pretty foot work, only to be tackled 5secs later.

Hazard any day but apparently were getting gervinho for £10.6m so its alright if we get hazard aswell
Some people need to relaise that decioding what players to move for is about more than just ability. this isn't FM11.
Wenger went to watch hazard for the belgian under 21's not long ago, and was treated to a major display of paddy throwing petulence from hazard when he got subbed. After that there is no chance wenger will go for him.
