That would be an excellent signing. Id be excited to see him play in the blue and white. Leeds seemed to rate him highly and obviously wenger does.
Although, didnt wenger also rate another ex-wednesday striker at one time?
It makes sense if you read this too:

hes prolific scored 1 goal in 16 appearances for leeds. good luck!
I don't think he's an out & out striker.
Megson's being clever here & covering a couple of positions with one loan.
Gives us Clinton to back up Lowe/Cogba with Watt/JJ able to play there if necessary.
Watt can also play out wide (as he did with Leeds).
7 in 9 with Arsenal Reserves so far this season prompting Wenger to give him a new deal.
Officially signed by the way!
Sheffield Wednesday have completed the loan signing of Sanchez Watt from Premier League side Arsenal.
Watt will remain at Hillsborough until 16 January 2012.
The 20-year-old is a product of Arsenal's renowned youth academy and is equally at home in wide midfield or as a central a striker.
Watt signed his first professional contract with the Gunners in July 2008 and made his debut for Arsenal in September 2009 - scoring against West Bromwich Albion in the Carling Cup.
During the 2009-10 campaign, Watt spent time on loan at Southend United and Leeds United, making six appearances for the latter as the Elland Road side gained promotion back to the Championship.
Watt rejoined Leeds on a temporary basis in the 2010-11 season and went on to make a further 22 appearances in the second tier.
The pacey youngster has also earned international recognition with the England Under-16s, 17s and 19s.
Watt is eligible to play for the Owls on Saturday against Leyton Orient at Hillsborough.

In the interest of SWFC this is a great signing.
But in the interest of banter/conversation, I think hes rubbish and will make JJ look like Maradona.
Megson out!
JJ makes JJ look like Maradona!
Tez4Life.......what a very boring individual.
Piping up due to his very small club having a decent run (taking away the play off final and cups)
Highly rated by the one of the best managers in the Premier League and you're trying to make out its a bad signing. Suppose I'd rather have Alan Lee
Aye JJ is like Maradona as he was when managing the Argies; unfit, prone to outbursts and heading for a ban.
Sanchez Watt played mainly as a winger for Leeds, so his goal return isn't great.
For Arsenal reserves this season, however, he has been used as the main striker in a front 3 (the RvP role, if you will). This has seen him score 6 in 8 games, so not bad.
Ah Alan Lee, when that goal went in at a packed Hillsborough on that fatefull day in May 2010, it was.. It was great!
Would rather that than not experiencing championship football for 50 years.
Great player, terrific speed, excellent skills BUT, he seemed a bit disinterested when the thermometer started hitting 0 degrees C.
Just started strolling around the pitch with his gloves on & head down.
Lets hope for your sake the weather stays mild, eh?
He can always borrow me duffle coat, there is a toggle missing though.
We used to just chant -
You Watt, you Watt, you Watt you Watt you Watt!
Pretty crap really, i hope you come up with a better one!
If he turns out to be crap we might just put a T in front of his name.
A bit more info on his background here for you.
