My grandad has more mobility, but if he gives Charltons back four some hammer he'll do I suppose
Parkin ? He's a lumbering 40 tonne truck...it'll be full time by the time he's shifted his ahrse from the dressing room..
Makes perfect sense. As close to Alan Lee as they come. Slightly slower but even better in the air and holding the ball up. More importantly he is available.
Will they have to get a shirt especially made for him?
They will use the shirt from the centre circle
i understand a far east sweat shop is now on standby to complete the shirt by monday.. all 643 staff and the kids in the basement have been locked in awaiting the order!!!!
£39.99 its a right bargain....
will there be room on our pitch for him...maybe crowd capacity will have to be reduced ? Where will he park his vehicle...B and Q car park (all of it) ??
is he eny good this beast?
I suppose it's all relative really...Suppose you were dying of thirst in the desert...would you drink pi$$ ?
loui..
you know those people that try and get to all 92 league grounds???
parkin appears to have started that particular craze!!!!!
They are getting them body painters who did such a great job in The Daily Sport to paint him a shirt on. He was at Doncaster for a month who seems to be throwing alot of money at wages in an attempt to avoid relegation. If they could not afford to keep him for a second month alarm bells should be ringing.
Heard this deal has just been completed. Obviously already had him lined up pending Lee's appeal.
Danny Cads must realise his days are numbered at Town. If he isn't required when one of the 3 strikers in front of him get suspended he may as well leave.
Cads can attach himself to Parkins' lapel..
you have to hit parkin..close isnt good enough, the ball has to go straight to him.. chasing into the channels for john is quickly changing over on his sky remote!!!!
At almost 6'-5" and God knows what he weighs, Parkin dwarfs Alan Lee and should prove a good foil for Rhodes, although he's only netted a couple of goals in his last 20 matches.
So all in all, I reckon he's a good loan signing and to cap it all he's a Yorkie through and through, which can't be bad.
Looks like we will be playing long hoof ball from now on in. What happened to clarks belives in playin on the grass.
Loui, F--k the grass, as long as we keep averaging over 2 points per game.
He's 4 years younger than Lee too,Hope he's a big success with us.

parkin is a target man..
he isnt a moving target man...
if he lards it around in their box on monday and we get a result then all is well with the world..
id still like to know what the f-ck we re signed cads for???
be honest they could just have given his wages to a charity and at least felt a bit better about themselves..
notts county had a big clumsy target man!!!! just a thought....
Parkin is a better player than some of you lot give him credit for, Hard as nails, good in the air and excellent close control for a big fella, Dont forget he aint played lower than the top two divisions for a good few years, He is also one of those players who the fans love, He has been a bit of a cult hero at all his clubs, If he has gained match fitness at Donny then he will be a smashing signing as long as we play to his strengths, No he aint fast but he aint much slower than Big Al and is probably as fast as Howard who is not available anyway as Pearson has just turned down Derbys offer to take him on loan.
Curious that it's 2 months rather than 1. Are we planning a Lee/Parkin partnership! I thought it wasn't possible to have a less mobile front 2 than Booth/Beckett but that would win hands down!
roll onBoxing day, Lee and Parkin (not perrins) up top, and Rhodes between them...wooooh !
It wil work Rhodes loves a big man playing with him and it seems Clark loves big ones too. Rohdes seems a lot better for it too , he seemed happier now he's got big lads to play with.
