Looks good to me, but i'd have to put walcott ahead of johnson as he's not getting enough game time.
I'd replace John at LB with John
My team will be mainly made up of Spanish players
I think John's are better suited to a 4-4-2 formation. It's the way John has always played and I don't see why it needs to be changed now.

Best start rebuilding for 2016 then.
I seriously doubt king will get called up
Hart
Richards Smalling Terry Cole
Parker Wilshire
Johnson Rooney Young
Sturridge/Welbeck
Stockdale
Walker Smalling Jones Bertrand
Wilshere Rodwell McEachran
Sturridge Welbeck Albrighton?
Oh sorry I thought this was the Olympics team article. My team would be:
Hart
Richards Smalling Terry Baines
Wilshere Gerrard
Sturridge Young Johnson
Bent/Welbeck/Rooney
What would be your team without Rooney CSTP? (he'll be our for the first 3 games)
GK: Hart (Carson, Foster)
RB: Richards (Walker)
CB: Jagielka (Terry)
CB: Lescott (Smalling)
LB: Baines (A. Cole)
CM: Parker (Jones)
CM: Wilshere (Cleverley)
CM: Gerrard (Lampard)
RW: A. Johnson (Walcott)
ST: Sturridge (Rooney)
LW: A. Young (Welbeck)
What I think could realistically be the full 23 man squad.
Our defence, in my opinion needs a complete overhaul with Ferdinand, Terry and Cole being increasingly injury prone and a lack of form. Having 3 players who have previously played together for Everton would benefit us because of the experience factor. Terry will definitely go whatever happens because he is captain while Walker and Smalling are young but also have a lot of quality. Cole goes because he could still be a very decent option off the bench.
In midfield Parker has been outstanding this season, some people might say his age counts against him however Marcos Senna started playing for Spain late in his career and was a key member of the team in Euro 2008. Wilshere has to go if he is fit because of his ability to retain possession and travel with the ball. This leaves Gerrard or Lampard to play in the position that they have played in there respective clubs for years and will hopefully allow them to regain some semblance of form for England.
Johnson and Young on the wings provide skill, pace and above all an end product while the substitutes (Walcott, Rooney and Welbeck) are all versatile enough to play on the wings or up front and allows for a lot of interchanging.
CB: Jagielka (Terry)
CB: Lescott (Smalling)
the two back-ups should be starting
Sorry, but I really don't rate Terry and never have. He is slow and error-prone. The only reason he's even in my squad is because I know Capello will take him due to his "leadership" qualities (even though his actions have proved a disruptive influence many-a-time).
"and never have"
Never? Not even a few years ago when he was at his peak?
Without Rooney
Gerrard/Lampard/Cleverley Parker Wilshire
Johnson Sturridge/Welbeck Young
