Totally agree with your opening paragraph. I wasn't even surprised or gutted when they scored that last minute winner, a small part of me was waiting for it to happen. N that in itself in hindsight scares me, i've not had that strong a lack of faith in Chelsea for a long, long time. Even last season i knew we'd come good.
I still don't think it's flashing red lights everywhere stage of panic yet, i've go no fears about our long-term project (if AVB's allowed to progress it), or are immediate CL status (we'll definitely finish 4th at the very least) but i'll certainly expect some absolute stinkers this season. I fear for our lives against Spurs for example.
If we escape out of this season with a cup and CL qualification i'll consider it a MASSIVE success.
HHHBF - Juandando will hit 40 this season
What makes you so sure that Chelsea will finish 4th at the very least??
Sorry to break the bubble but your club are not guaranteed anything this season. I think you'll struggle to even finish 5th come what May.
This is not 2006 anymore, the spine is old and past it. You have not evolved one bit.
I think it would benefit your club if your out of the champions league places at the close of season. That's probably the smack in the face your club need to get rid of those OVERHYPED TROUBLEMAKERS.

The spine has been old and past it for over 5 years, and yet we still manage to pull through. Although most Chelsea fans (which i acknowledge yr not one) can only see the darkness at this point, it was exactly the same last season and many mid-season's before that, but we always come back and end strongly. It's been a consistent pattern for over a decade.
I actually think we'll finish 3rd, and come May it'll give off the illusion that it was comfortable, just like last season's 2nd place finish look like it was never in doubt.
