If I woke up in Roman's body, I would definitely combine 2 and 4.

A goalless draw still sees Chelsea through. Any score draw sees Valencia through. Still, Chelsea were the beter team at Mestalla imo and should make their home advantage count in the decider.

True, but it's a one-off game and home ground with all the atmosphere you get in English grounds. I think it'll be too much for Valencia. (I'm not a Chelsea fan by the way - I'm Spanish and will be 100% behind Valencia on the night.)

I think we will beat Valencia quite comfortably and then draw Barcelona in the knock out round...

do chelsea fans want a long term project ??

remember the 2 big clubs in european football who have been the most successful in the last 20yrs are Man U and Barca..

Both of these clubs have had continuity and a "grand plan"...no coincidence

Villas-Boas wants Chelsea to play in a way that, when it is done probably, is v attractive to watch and will get results..
Problem is he hasn't got the players in that squad to play that style effectively !
But then and again a number of the players in that squad are past their sell by date and need to be replaced
Why not give Villas-Boas a few years to lay the foundations, get his own players in ??

I mean thats what ManU did with Ferguson...and theyve had 20 years of unparralled success

0-0 is fine. that would makes us qualify.

but if its a score draw (which means we're out) AND we#re still doing atrociously on the doemstci front, I would fire him and half the squad to boot.
