What if Barcelona offers 30 million for Theo as was in the press lately? (Well press, caughoffside I guess),

The board would get that weird look in their eyes I guess

VAN PERSIE WILL GO TO MAN CITY
===========================

You've been sniffing too many knickers, mate. Probably from some grannies. Are you Rooney by any chance?

My stomach tells me that van Persie will stay.

Both will stay, but the pressure is more on RVP to sign up. I cannot see Arsenal letting Walcott go after all the time and money spent on brining him here. Ironically he's starting to show his best form when his contract is up for renewal!

interesting, you think it is irony, hmmm need to think about that one

I'm pretty sure we haven't forgotten that!
I wonder if Theo needs to prove himself a bit before he gets an improved offer? Or whether an offer exists but he 'likes the project going on at Man City'...

If we get 4th place they will both stay, simple as that.

Sell Walcott?

In his best years with his best pace?

After all the years the effort the club has put into him?

Nah, never.

People forget RVP is an Arsenal fan, I can't see him going to City, he just doesn't seem that sort of guy.

Anyway, City will crash and burn!! You'll see!!!

I would like to think Robin and Theo will have enough intelligence (something which Nasri lacked) to see that the grass isn't greener on the other side.

Robin is settled in London, with a young family and a very good wage. I think he'll stay.

Robin and his wife are very happy in London. I doubt he will move to any club where he will not be no.1. He will not get that at Madrid or Barca. Man City has too many strikers. Man Utd have been instructed to spend less. The only club left is Chelsea and who wants to join that 'dressing room'.

So I suspect RVP will sign a new rather excessive contract.

RVP bought a new house in London a few weeks back aswell so hopefully that shows he isn't looking to leave any time soon.

They're in the forms of their lives and you want them to resign?

You crazy fool!
