wearethefamousthfc1882,

£3000 if spurs finish above arsenal = about 1p of my wages, he must be really confident

===================================

If Wilshere is on £40k per week then £3k is just over 1/13 of his weekly wage.

So if his £3k equals your 1p, this puts you on 13p a week, £6.76 per annum.

and he's worth every penny

Boring stat that probably no-one will care about:

Say you take home £1k a month, £40k:

wages would equate to £238ph*
Your wages would equate to £1.40ph*

Not saying he's not a but that's roughly 13 hours of money he's going to donate.

*calculated over a 24 hour period.

Let me put this into terms that your lot can understand :

£2.20 = minimum cab fare for us.
£3000 = minimum cab repair cost after Jackie boy as passenger.

Dont we just.

I like the way you've based the wages on 24 hours a day - just to make the look tight.

I love stats like that, me.

So RBDB if we add that (og) to the score, that makes it 62 - 2. Like I said, you can never be beaten

posted on 24/11/11

No, you started the article as you ended it. 0-1 (og) .
There were 60 odd interludes between those points.

Someone with a brain though, would have tried to avoid the fixture going ahead in the first place. But there you go.

I'm confused - was the point of this article to guilt-trip us Spurs fans into giving £1 to charity?

If so you lost before you started OP

I happily give money to charity by my own free will, and I reckon it's better received than me saying: "I had to give you this cos a bet me I wouldn't.."

(U1414) I bet you won't bother trying to wum the Spurs board again, if you do i'll buy a Big Issue

Well Bales left foot, my OP was meant to be a liitle bit of light relief between our two football teams, you know, a bit of banter. And I think Wilshire was doing the same. But he was puting his money where his mouth is ( to coin an old Cockney term) I suppose 3 grand isn't much when you consider how much he's on a week. But it's still generous I think..After all, he said it will go to charity if Spurs do finish above Arsenal and vice- versa. If you have read all the comments, surely can see that the majority are simply childish, insulting, gibberish and simply un funny. For instance, what was all stuff relating to Dave and Only Fools and Horses. I didn't geddit. And all those silly smileys.

As for your comment about not coming on the Spurs board again (Wumming) as you put it and you will donate to Big Issue if I do,then watch out fella.

By the way, Bale's, how will we all know if you do buy the Big Issue? Judging by all the other comments from you lot. I doubt wether you'll stump up the case. Can't be trusted I fear

Dammit (U1414) i'll have to go find a seller now!

Climbing all the way up on that horse of yours, only to lower yourself by saying we can't be trusted..

I guess you'll just have to take my word for it, just as I with you that you're not completely humourless.

As for smileys, or implying that we all somehow got the wrong end of the stick - that's the nature of forums mate. If you don't make your point or state your intentions clearly (especially to rival fans) expect to get some stick for it.

For what it's worth smileys are useful in making you intentions clear in lieu of facial expressions and body language

Well Chicken, I must agree, that in the right context, the two examples you produced re. Only Fools and Horses was indeed funny and I'm sure you and others can find many more.many more. But I dont see for the life of me what it has to do with the Post

As for you Bale's, You challenged me to appear on the Spurs board again, a challenge which I accepted last night. " Can't be trusted I fear" bit of wumming there, although I prefer to call it banter.

By the way Ann<3 , What is Sheyt, does it rhymn with wait.?----- Also, I checked with the smileys and I see that the smiley you sent me was a flan, was that supposed to be a custard tart.? Personally, I'd have prefered a

Wummingly yours, Proudgooner

Ps After all the so called comments I think the Post is worth 5 stars, at least 4. I think between the 3 of you, you can sort that out for me---- Thanks in anticipation
