Non offensive words are viewed offensive. You can't call a g-hay person ghay, what should we refer them as? You can't call a blind person a blind. You can't refer a ret-arded person as reta-rded. So we will keep inventing terminologies to fit the characters after a while we will ban those terminologies and invent new ones. But for how long this will continue though?
