Lenn
Bale
B.A.E
JD

To name but a few , we have pace ALL oer the pitch , some teams may have one or two speedboats but not in the quantity we have

Walker
Bale
Lennon

In that order of speed.

Ade is no slouch either ... and although he has slowed a little ..we all remember ledders on robben

Hmm i wouldnt think Defoe or BAE are any quicker than your average PL player to be honest

Stand out :

Lennon
Bale
Walker
King (When he has been fully fit)

Not sure any others are especially quick, but we have the pace where its most important, down the wings

We are SUPERIOR

Has to be Barcelona though, both on the ball and off it

I reckon it's us you know, Arsenal must be the closest in the PL.

Did you see Kaboul getting back to stop Agbonlahor? He made up at least 20m in no time - I thought it was Walker!

Yep we had missed YK but he's rapid

In terms of speed the ball moves and the players with it I'd say Madrid. It's truly terrifying the speed they convert defence into attack. In a way I'm glad we're probably going out the champions league as I don't think we're ready to risk facing Madrid yet. They have become an absolute monster under Mourinho.

In terms of quickest players it depends on how you are defining it. The average of the squad? the average of the starting 11? fastest individual? Fastest 5? fastest 5 that regularly start?

I think we have to be up near the top using some of the classificagtions but not others. Yaya can shift, Richards and Clichy are extremely fast.Balo is very quick.

Oh and it wouldn't surprise me if Hart wsas the quickest keeper in the league.

thebluenowhere i agree that man city are up there, which is why i posted it on your board too.

you and us are the quickest in the prem i think, with arsenal just behind.

on a european scale, in terms of foot race, madrid dont really compete they have ronaldo who is quick but in terms of raw pace thats more or less it. ozil and di maria are quick but not messi quick.

bayern are certainly contenders though.

I actually said this to my mate who is a Spurs fans. I can't think of a quicker team. Bale, Lennon and Walker are rapid. Kaboul and BAE are quick. Defoe is quick and Modric is no slouch. That's your strength this season. You counter attacking play is unstoppable. The trick to beating you is to sit deep and see if you can play though a team.

Ade is no slouch either

----------------------

The way he ran the length of the pitch to celebrate his goal for City in front of the Arsenal fans is testament to how fast Adebayor is. Don't think I've ever seen him run as fast when the ball is actually in play though.

Blue nice civilised comment

How would you compare your quickest to our speedboats like Walker , Bale and Lennon ????
