Terrible shirt! Made lawro look like an accomplished pundit.
he got called a squad player
Michael Owen has always been boring.
I used to quite like him years ago, he seemed like he knew what he was talking about but lately i just find him annoying and a bit of d***
Im sure this has nothing to do with who he used to play for and who he currently plays for that turned him
Wasn't Shearer a bit dry when he started, though? He's turned out OK? He looked a bit nervous?...
Shearer i also don't rate as a pundit. My 3 favourites are gary neville martin keown and lee dixon
Emotions were running high.
I actually rate gary neville as a pundit not like highly as andy gray or anything but he does know what hes talking about at times
Ray wilkins and Alan smith are also 2 good pundits
To be honest i just find MOTD annoying these days. Back in the day most of the games were played on a Saturday so you'd have 2 main games that were analysed 1 game with extended highlights and then the main highlights for the rest of the games. But now because theres only 4 or 5 games on a Saturday they drag the show out and the 'expert analysis' goes on forever... You end up having 0-0 games getting 15-20 minutes airplay
Goals on sunday > MOTD for me

That Colin Murray is a Pr!ck
MOTD became obsolete when I had sky sports to watch

Gary Neville is actually ok although I suspect he probably has to gargle with a pint of mouth wash after saying complimentary things about Liverpool. Gareth Southgate was a decent pundit as well. Very clever, articulate and tactically astute.
I've always thought he's a Shearer Mark II, nice guy but boring as hell. Just watch this to see how boring he is.

BTW, is there ANYONE who actually likes Shearer as a pundit? I'm serious, I'd rather listen to a man farting for 1 hour than listen to the pointlessness that comes out of his smug little mouth.

Neville is better than all mentioned and he's only been doing it five minutes. I thought initially he was afraid of being controversial in fear of being deemed biased but he seems to have got out of that now and is giving some strong opinions, which mostly I agree with.
Gary Neville is a good pundit and quite funny (I chuckled when he asked if he was expected to analyse bale/adebayor dancing)
Souness is a good one.
