Souness doesn't mix his words but neville has more knowledge than him. Still can't admit to liking Souness but he comes out with some funny things like after the gatusso joe jordan thing last year

What was that?
Michael Owen has always been terribly dull to listen to during interviews. You'd think he might improve with age as so many others do, but he hasn't. It's just a monotone voice with many pauses and many 'erm's.

Souness is interesting and makes great points but I also think he scares the sh it out of everyone else in the studio, he's a bit like Keane.
Souness also has the widest sideburns I've ever seen on a man.
As a wise man once said. He goes on like a bad 5hag.
Souness is very calm, so I'm not surprised he'd scare the living daylights out of everyone. I'm not being sarcastic.
Just calling gattuso a little dog and stuff
Enriques,
To be honest i just find MOTD annoying these days. Back in the day most of the games were played on a Saturday so you'd have 2 main games that were analysed 1 game with extended highlights and then the main highlights for the rest of the games. But now because theres only 4 or 5 games on a Saturday they drag the show out and the 'expert analysis' goes on forever... You end up having 0-0 games getting 15-20 minutes airplay
==================================
Back in the day, they only took tv cameras to the games they would be showing, thats why they were extended highlights.
Also, Owen more-or-less admitted he would be happy to just play 15 low key matches per season for Man Utd, than play a whole season with anyone else - i dont think that made him come across to well either, if i'm honest.
Andy did lawro really say that to owen?
I dont know if its because i had MoTD on HD, but Lawro lloked like he'd aged 10 years yesterday.
He looked like one of the musketeers with that beard.
Souness best pundit on Sky by a MILE
Owen regardless of the tragic death of Speed would have been a boring pundit anyway. Nice guy but not cut out to be on Tv/Radio. Gary Neville is a enthusiastic bunny rabbit on red bull compared to Michael Owen.
Who's facial hair did people find most offensive on Saturday's MOTD?
Mr the gattuso thing was souness?
Best pundit is Lee Dixon I think, worst Desailly lol
Desailly Cow, Chicken and Goat. Classic TV right there.
Just shows how surprising Gary Neville's rise to fame in the world of punditry is - he's seemingly equally dull.
Goals on sunday > MOTD for me
.............................................................................
Defiantly better than MOTD 2, nice to see Chris Kamara talking about football and not acting like an idiot, good episode with Vinny Jones last Sunday as well.
I think a pundits should give you an insight into the game that you would have missed had they not pointed it out, in my opinion Gary Neville, Andy Gray, Graeme Souness, Andy Gray and Lee Dixon do that, the MOTD team are poor for me,so are the ESPN boys. I don't buy into the 'bland' tag that some of them get, the other alternative is the likes of Ian Wright, Robbie Savage and Tommy Smith, terrible pundits who's only point is to 'stir it up' but i don't want that with my pundits, i want them to know about the game their supposed to be experts on.

Big Andy Gray fan then?
--------------------------------
I haven't got Sky so I've only seen Neville a few times. He seems quite knowledgable but still seemed a bit nervous whenever I saw him.
I think Dixon's pretty good, and for some reason I like Alan Hanson.

The second Andy Gray relates to the former Leeds, Wolves and Sheff Utd journeyman centre forward and wasn't a typo..........honest.
I'm not sure who Alan Hanson is but there is a guy called Alan Hansen on MOTD who goes on about bad defending
Why do people keep saying dixon is a good pundit?, he's as dull as shearer and that's pretty dull, what makes it worse is his analysis of matches littered with the word "bang". "he's through on goal BANG keeper saves, comes back out to him BANG he's fallen over, back on his feet now and playes a nice pass out to teammate BANG tries his luck from distance BANG keeper makes a great save.
Nev is easily the best pundit with a depth of knowledge most pundits could only dream of, take note alan hansen and learn some more words other than "grit" and "determination" .
