agreed

if its muscle injuries they have then they clearly aren't warming up correctly, its basic stuff, that goes to all players who get muscle injuries

They are like glass. It's a shame, too, since they both have great potential to be our starters in the full-back positions in the future.

macheda didnt play that bad

but diouf is TERRIBLE

rafael is better than fabio easily, but both are injury prone, if this continues i'd like to see fryers (sp) given a chance strong and pacy we need to hench players in our team lol

Gonna get stick for this but watching Fabio I believe he fakes injury when he's getting run about.

What's happened to the twins? After last season I thought they were going to be permanent fixtures in your side. Is it just injuries or have they been carp when playing?

Fabio should've been off on saturday as well

Do these lads not know how to warm up, they go off with strains like its going out of fashion, sort it out

I agree Daveunited, Gibson wasnt too bad tonight at least he looked like he wanted to win the game...

I think its injuries- Bales Left boot- Rafael would certainly be a regular by now if it werent for injuries, he had a great run in the team last year before he got injured.

They are good players but are out of position too often and make pointless challenges to pick up cards. The injuries are the most frustrating thing about them though.

Fisher

Rafael looks like a fragile version of Walker, players that are that quick and still growing will pick up a lot of injuries. I'm sure they'll get better as they get older

Hopefully they will but there may not be the time for them to do that at United, especially with Smalling and Jones around.

It annoys me that we dont have a proper right back, Spurs have had that problem before but now have a quality player in Walker, and we havent had a steady natural right back since Neville was in his prime.

From what i've seen of Jones and Smalling neither are going to be your permanent RB.. I'd hope not for your sake anyway!

Just be grateful you haven't got Bassong

Yes, you are going to get stick for that, and rightly so. Just when I think you cant get any more ridiculous you come out with that...

Smalling will eventually replace Rio, think thats fairly obvious. Jones could maybe play RB, but will more likely end up in CB, or as a defensive midfielders.

Captain Positivity- yeah that is just ridiculous.

CP you are a chutya! (Indian word for C)

Definitely they're both class players, would love to have Jones in particular at Spurs.. just don't think either is a RB.

Such a shame about City buying the league - we could've had a real title race on this season.

CP you are a strange one....

On a happier note I thought Smalling was quality tonight. Looks so much better when playing at CB than RB.
