I like your name and your coherent post coupled with the use of words with more than 2 syllables. Feel free to post on here again.

SuperShearer thanks for your sentiments. the problem we have is that he isn't just a muppet, he is a lying, arrogant, horrible, deluded, useless, conman who seems for some reason to be untouchable

Leaving kean out of it for a moment, don't you think Forest pushed the panic button a little prematurely, especially considering the last few results?! It would have been worth giving McClaren

I suppose the scrutiny that falls on a club the size of Forest did for him in the end.

Steve mclaren is a top coach as he proved at Twente Enschede and then moved on to Germany! He is always confronted with the England game where a rookie keeper made a couple of mistakes.! He also walked away from Forest saving them money!A rare and gentlemanly gesture in this footie time.

Well wow, we had a temporary improvement in results under Coterill, which I really hope hasn't petered-out, under McClaren we rolled-over far too many times against the oppostion. Not only were we getting beaten but we looked disorganised and were playing awfully. McClaren's effect has demoralised a lot of the players' confidence this season and if his tenure had continued things would only have gotten worse.
Managers aren't always sacked on a whim, sometimes a manager loses the confidence of the fans and crucially of the players and when this happens something needs to be done to stop the rot setting in. If the buck doesn't stop with the manager when it comes to results then the team starts to lose credibility, this can only be negative and the owners must act in these situations. I'm personally glad that Doughty acted.

What you have just described about your club is what our club should have done months ago.

starrover, McClaren strikes me as an extremely decent man but he sometimes really fails to get to his act together as a manager. He did have a great run in Holland but was sacked from Wolfsburg before coming to us and his lack of Championship experience really told with us. Bit like Kean's lack of experience is showing.

Good evening/good morning gentlemen.
I used to post occasionally on the old 606 forum and have been reading the posts on the Rovers board since the start of JA606. I've been hesitant in starting to contribute as I can't seem to get my user name to display (any help appreciated here guys).
However, this thread prompted me to have a change of heart.
We are in the midst of a crisis at Ewood with this idiot Kean and I can only see it being worse (if that were possible) under the leadership of "The Wally with the Brolly"
I've been a Rovers supporter since 1063 and hate what is happening to our club so please, anyone except Mcclaren, Megson or Bruce.

Great name SuperShearer and I agree entirely. Especially your comment about us practically throwing away something so important. I think most of the older generations of Rovers fans really appreciate the value of what we have, because barring a brief 2-year spell a decade ago, the last time we fell out of the top flight it took us 26 years to get back in.
