Seen him a few times. Is a decent CB but not top class. Good player to have in the squad, but last time I saw him play for Ajax they conceded 6 and he (and the rest of the back 4) were all over the place.
Would be a good signing though.
Can play DM, CB, or LB as is basically pretty at all of them.

Lex, I heard his contract at Ajax is expiring fairly soon... likewise two of our other "targets" Junior Hoilett and Gary Cahill (although you get the feeling Cahill will end up at Chelsea) are free agents next summer..
