Bit of a helping hand there, but it's not like we needed it. Might make scoring more difficult though

by harrys reackoning were in trouble now, if they lose another player its game over for us.

I can only assume the red card has been given because a Spurs play had outstripped their back line and would have got the cross.

What say you ??

That wasn't harsh at all tbh. look at defoe, it wud have been a simple side pass and a defo goal i think IMO

Parker would of had a free pass to Defoe and it looked like the ref was saying that to the players

I say:

A combination of the position and the nature of the challenge.. still harsh though.

Well, someone agrees with me.
But can the ref claim to REALLY have seen what we see on the TV ??

posted on 3/12/11

Actually, watching it again... I can understand why the ref pulled out the red, but I still reckon by the letter of the law it should have been a yellow

Harsh? Who cares.....I have seen enough spurs decisions down the years go against us including one of the worst ref decisions ever with Mendes goal. Anyway we are a top 4 side now, we get that luck .....we would of smashed bolton anyway

The goal scoring oppertunity has to be "obvious", you can't send a player off surely if as a ref you are anticipating a possible pass.

would be nice to see Parker get his first goal.

Good doctor

It would've been a yellow anywhere on the pitch, add the attacking position we were in.. harsh but not shocking IMO

I should just unplug my home land line, football comes first

We surely should be creating chance after chance now!
