2. The under the cosh 2nd halves, though , have IMHO being more "character building" in the team resolve/spirit.
The performance today harks back to the "futile four" , and remind me that the basics MUST BE DONE PROPERLY, no matter what the circumstances of the opponent.

I had a flashback to old 3MP whilst watching Ade part way through the 2nd half
I think Harry made the wrong sub today. I'd have kept Lennon on (even though he played the full 90 against PAOK) and taken off either Ade or Defoe and replaced with VDV.
IMO our strength is the speed with which we break out and attack down the wings
The wing attack is now just one facet.
Modric pulling the strings thru the centre is just as potent.
No coincidence that the results sequence has been coming with both aspects fully functioning.
Evening doo-doos, completely the same views as you on old Harry.
Sadly and i will keep mentioning this our next manager is Mark Hughes or Tim Sherwood.
It is a done deal.
Hughes is holding off on any job for us however if he does accept one which is very unlikely. Then Tim Sherwood is promoted Josep Guardiola style.
Both in my opinion disgusting choices.
