Where are they from in the Uk again?
What does that have to do with that?
Couldn't have shown you lack of knowledge much more could you Grizzly?
Paul the Octopus should receive the nomination he didn't get from last year, and win.
SPOTY is for British nationals
Didn't pele receive it once?
There is an award for the overseas personality of the year
on a serious note, Clarke to win it by a mile I hope! Fantastic that he won the Open after what he went through!

After Grizzly already made the same mistake on which two people pointed out are you really stupid enough to make the exact same mistake? I expect a certain degree of stupidity from rags (after all they do just blindly follow a team they have no geographical ties to for the most) but all you had to do was read 10 or so comments to avoid making the mistake, the OP even put two players that could win it as a guideline for you to follow?
I'll try and keep it short for you. Balotelli, Yaya Toure, and Micah Richards are eligible to be nominated for it. Ribery, Ronaldo, Lavezzi are not eligible.
The level of stupidity on this board hurts me.

I doubt very much Balotelli, Yaya Toure would even be included in the nominations.
When was the last time we had a non british winner??
Good to see you are also blindly following the crowd, with the old you dont come from manchester rubbish (you aint got a clue sonny), dont worry though Bo Peep will no doubt find you soon.

Alomst forgot the term RAGS which use as some sort of insult, is far from it considering Utd fans gave the the Team the nickname in the 30's
but I supposed being a little sheep you just call us that because others do Baa Baa
I didn't say the players listed would be nominated, I said they would be eligible for nomination. You seemd to be under the illusion that because they weren't british they couldn't be nominated.
So a club that claims to have 330,000,000 fans and you're telling me I'm wrong to believe that vast majority of them don't come from Manchester. Do the sums and then tell me why I'm correct in saying that most rag fans don't have any geographical ties to Manchester. It's not blindly following the sheep saying that, it is just true.
Yaya Toure was in fact nominated by the local paper, surely someone from manchester would know that?
The rags isn't an insult, it's just what I've always called your lot. I'll call most liverpudlians scousers, not as an insult but just force of habit. Also I've never seen conclusive proof that your lot coined that term, I've heard from both red and blues that you came up with it and that we did. If you could offer conclusive proof then I'd happily read it for clarification as I've never been 100% sure who came up with the term.
Well I suppose you could call me a sheep for calling you it. My family and friends have always used the term and I have copied them in saying it so as with any term we are all sheep in saying it. Do you ever refer to somebody as a scouser? If you do then then that is sheep like behaviour as well, in fact nearly everything we do is sheepish in some way.
Phil 'The Power' Taylor should win. He must have more trophies than the rest put together.

Yaya Toure aint one of this years nominees fact, no matter what paper you read or where you come from!!!!
I wouldn't say 100% proof but about the rag tag but is from a city fan.
