Yes, because the EPL is very competitive!
Dominated by Man Utd and Chelsea for eight years running and it has taken Man City over a billion pounds to break this! I'm sure if Hibs/Hearts got £40million they could split the Old Firm
They criticise the Scottish game, although most of the managers down South are Scottish
It's always funny listening to or reading a Newcastle United fan pontificating on 'success'.
Charlie Adam to Liverpool says it all about the overatedness of the EPL!
He's a Newcastle fan commenting on the new Sunderland manager. If Celtic or Rangers signed Jose Mourinho as manager the other half would find something to criticise.
Alan Pardew, they are having a wee love fest, but beleive Newcastle have hit their peak!
Newcastle
Joke of a club, joke of a city
Irvine, the point is, there have been a good 4 or 5 articles slating the SPL on this website.
Is he running out of Newcastle chat and therefore buffering it with reproduced nonsense?
Success?
When was the last time Newcastle tasted success apart from getting promoted after being relegated?
gas cookers are good in newcastle thats about it though
Harry,
Maybe he should ask Redknapp what he thinks of Newcastle's chances of Euro football next season.
I think Newcastle have a terrific goalkeeper and the English media agree, yet this person is so blinded to slaughter the SPL and not acknowledge that Tim Krul was loaned to Falkirk to assist his development.
Ignore this website man lads. He has a chip on his shoulder about every single aspect of football. As for those criticizing newcastle how many times you been?
Newcastle fans will be suffering from delusions of grandeur just now such is there unusually high position in the table (outwith their recent travels in lower leagues).
Two points from that article highlight how much of a tube the author is :
1. Today we hear how Martin O'Neill has always been "a Black Cats' supporter", and how he achieved success with Celtic.
God forbid ... is "success" in a two-horse league an achievement?
He guided celtic to a Euro final, when was the last time Newcastle played in a Euro final? Have they ever?
2. That league is so poor (as confirmed by Alan Pardew himself)
What experience does Pardew have in Scotland?
I'd read this guys articles with a pinch of salt
I
I don;t think anyone is criticising the city, just this person and his patronising views on Scottish football.
Fair enough if it was coming from someone who supported a regularly successful team but a Newcastle fan?
I don't think so.
I have actually been unfortunate enough to witness Geordie land on many occasions, i'm just glad everyone got to see it worldwide on Geordie shore
I think Stephen Hawking could do a power in Newcastle, that's how easy it is to get knee deep down there
NNH, even the sub-titles were indecipherable.
does the arrogance of the English know no bounds?
Pol, he's a Geordie.
Even the English don't want them.
