Hmm. 1 star, better than I expected to be honest! But seriously, try and keep the discussion going - if you think this is nonsense then tell me why, don't just anonymously give it 1 star! (although I bet I can guess who it is !)

No wonder this board is dying.

With all the loanees available again, who'll miss out this tim?. Llera impressed on debut but bringing him back would probably mean dropping Jones or leaving Baath out - neither of which I can see happening. So the big man will probably miss out this time (barring injuries) and I expect to see Sanchez-Watt on the bench.

Good effort Alf. I really wish I could make this one, 4,000+ Wednesday fans is always a great atmosphere. I think this could be another tough one but expect us to get a point and probably sneak the win. I also expect Shefki to weave his Magic and score.

I'd also expect Llera to miss out, Alf

Is this Bywater's last game aswell? At least that'll solve the loanee problem for a while!

Going on what you've seen from Tavernier so far, would you expect Otsemebor to be pushing for a start soon. He's been out a while but noticed he got on the bench on Saturday!

It's a tricky one with Tavernier. Despite my criticism of his defending I think there have been more pluses than minuses from him in his 2 games, therefore I'd like to see him stay in the side, especially if there is any chance of a longer loan/permanent deal. However if he is here just for the one short spell I think it's important for semi to get some games under his belt. Either way, even if Tavernier did stay longer, as soon as Buxton is fit he needs to come straight back in.

Wouldn't mind a look at Tavernier at right wing-back.

I can't think of Stainrod as a Wednesday player really. He lived down the road from me in Chap, like Dave Rushbury. However, I never saw him pushing a wheelbarrow.

Ah, Dave Rushbury's wheelbarrow. I've seen you write about this beast before Izzy. Did it really exist or is it just a myth? Did you ever touch it?

Know what you mean about Stainrod, even though he was (is?) a Wednesdayite apparently.

Oh, it existed - I saw it with my own eyes! Of course, it may not have been his, he could've just borrowed it. I can't remember what was in it either.

And there was me blaming Simon Stainrod (with help from Terry Curran) all these years!

I still shudder about it to this day.

What's the protocol on loaning gardening implements to footballers? I mean, I'd have no trouble with lending Dave Rushbury my wheelbarrow, but would youtrust, say, Leon Clarke with your lawnmower? I'd certainly let Mick Lyons use my hedge trimmer, but what to do if Reda asked to borrow a hoe?

And you would'nt lend Madine your lighter either

Even though its not a gardening implement

So would you put him in charge of the barbecue?

No! he tends to burn everything.

Roger Wylde and John Sheridan playing against us was not comfortable for the fan or the player..

..a bit like Hirsty running out onto the pitch ( late entry down the tunnel ) wearing the Southampton shirt..

..myself all three..

.. however there were the odd mongs that booed, cos' they thought it was big..

.. however, tears ran down my face without shame, when I saw Peter Swan run out of the tunnel, on his return to the Hillsbro' pitch

If you lent Clarke your lawn mower he'd cut his own toes off!
