Torres made the big mistake and left, now he will regreat it for the rest of his career..

I saw carroll in the first game of the season at old trafford after newcastle came up. They were poor but carroll looked fantastic, a real handful playing up front on his own with no support. Maybe he doesnt want to be at liverpool? I think hell be a proper good player for you in time if he settles in.

Carrol will come good. He played well last night and was unlucky not to score. I thought his performance was one of the posititves to come out of last night...

What worries me is while we are giving him time we are beginning to drop of the pace. Maxi is getting goals for us now and yet there he was sitting in the bench yesterday.

I don't know if Carrol is not good enough, he's just not right for the way liverpool play.

Pop him into a team that relies on slower build up play, crosses into the box and set plays and he'll score a hatfull.

Swap Torres for Carroll and both Chelsea and Liverpool might be onto a winner.

Another knee jerk reaction post.

Kickersniffer were you caliing for Carroll to leave last Tuesday when we beat Chelsea 2-0. Carroll played the whole game. What about against Wolves, West Brom, Everton, where we won and Carroll played the full 90 minutes. I bet you weren;tm, but as soon as draw or lose a game the knives suddenly come out.

Carroll will become a very good footballer. We need to give him time.

I can understand oppositin fans giving him stick but I can't understand our own fans doing it. Have you lot not learnt your lessons from Lucas.

I think Carroll at Liverpool is similar to Bent at Spurs, in that they just dont fit in to the type of play....whats more, they both looked good in poorer teams....

i think carrol is a good proffesional nothing more nothing less, ala peter crouch, duncan fergurson, but not lfc standard, torres was and in 12 months time carrol still might have 3 goals to his name and we might be 6th or 7th, which is not good enough
