Having the opinion that Rangers couldnt win that race still doesnt make it stupid. It would have been stupid if he said Hamilton might pip the Auld Firm to the post.

No Vic it was stupid to say that one side of a 2 horse race "couldn't " win,wouldn't you agree.If Rangers couldn't win then surely it isn't a 2 horse race.

No I dont agree it was stupid because it was a reasonable prediction to make. Look at the opposite if he had been right and Celtic did win the league......it wouldnt have been an amazing prediction would it?

If Celtic had won the league he would have been right,the point i'm making is he said Rangers couldn't win the league when we obviously could as we did.

At the point of Hartsons prediction Rangers were top of the league by 1 point but Celtic had a game in hand so to say Rangers couldn't win the league is stupid and anyone who says it wasn't a stupid comment is kidding themselves on.

The point of my post wasn't John Hartson having a prediction it was his saying that a Rangers team top of the league with 4 games to go couldn't win the league.Hartson is completely entitled to say he thinks Celtic will win but to say another team can't when they clearly can is stupid.

Well it is kinda like me saying Celtic have a chance to play in the CL this season, I personally know they havent got a hopes chance in hell! But who knows some bigwig at Uefa might take pity on them and say Im gonnae put you in the CL cos I feel like it. and you's have had a pretty rough time of it in the last three years and also because I have never seen so many losers bounce about like that before, so here you go just jump in at the semi finals.

Did you actually read the link you posted davie? You've spent the last few posts saying how it was stupid without really elaborating on what BBJ said. He stated that he could see Celitc collecting more points than Rangers based on the fixtures that were still to play...I'm having trouble spotting how that makes his prediction stupid.

Nearly all my comments explained how him saying Rangers couldn't win was the stupid part,if you choose to ignore my comments Vic thats not my problem.

He looked at the situation, thought Rangers were disadvantaged without Miller and that Celtic would win the SPL given the fixture list. He didnt just say Rangers cant win it.

He said Rangers threw it away in January that means they can't win something they have already thrown away does it not?

And remember Vic when Hartson wrote all that stuff Rangers were top of the league.

You'd think fat Hartson would knock the predictions on the head after this classic.
