Only worse because i could see it hear him scream
Referee's assessor had to come out of hiding too because he knew first aid
Our ref hadn't given a red for one of their players handball on the line and then found out he was being monitored

Did he even give a penalty?
Biased local refs
I remember this one team we played I was only like 18 so it's been a while...but our opponents felt hard done by some of his decisions they threw his bike into the canal
Yeah he gave the penalty, however it was from a throw in and nobody had touched it so if the guy let it in it wouldn't have counted
Tino
Tippy if that's the case then he got the decision spot on. It's only a red for DOGSO, which didn't happen as it wouldn't have been a goal. Yellow for deliberate handball is correct
Whoever handled it though is a proper dope.
Considering the ball hadn't gone over the line someone could have got the final touch on it, unlikely but the box was full Still a scoring op IMO
Morning all.
Interesting situation that. Underlines how difficult it can be to referee a game.
Yeah i would hate to be a ref, the guy didn't have a bad game bar that, obviously the little decisions throughout the game you always think should go your way but it happens
As you 1st described it, if the bloke hadn't touched it, the ball would've gone in directly from the thrown in. If so, then the ref being monitored wouldn't have been called for. What I mean is that even the people judging the ref can get it wrong.
They are undercover, so even if they see a blatent penalty and it isn't given they cant make any decision
No didn't mean that. What I'd understood is that the guy was being scrutinised because of that decision - though come to think of it that doesn't really make sense, as he'd have been watched regardless.
Oh right ok, yeah i see what you wre saying, he was being monitored because the fa decided all grassroots ref's were going to be watched during their games this week. The Handball had nothing to do with it, just saying imo he should have given a red but i can see why he didnt
So, I trust you've all spent theweekend preparing a pile of quiz questions then?
I've spent all weekend being drunk, I can quiz you on that if you like?
Did your drink play for Rangers and Mansfield Town?
No, but if someone signs a player called Peroni Jagerbomb then I'll let you know.
Isn't he a Tyrolese Italian alpine skiier?
I had to look up Tyrolese
I've spent most of this morning watching YouTube clips of this guy:

I've already spent most of the morning procrastinating - as much as watching a guy swallow paint is an almost irresistible temptation, I'd better start getting some proper work done. Laters.
Quitter
Catch you in a bit.
Hi mate, sorry had a busy morning so far. How's it going?
