If he really wants out I think Liverpool would be silly not to sell once (if) we hit around the £45m mark. He'd be a great signing but it's already so much hassle, I kinda wish we'd just forget it and move on with other transfers.

I'd be pretty happy with that, it'd strengthen us whilst not over hauling our first XI which is actually underrated - we always start badly after selling players and finish strongly once our new side starts to gel. So anything we add this year is a bonus as it looks like we won't be selling.

At least they'll be £70m richer.

I can't see us turning down much above this, but I really don't think we want to sell to another Prem club.

I'm really interested to see how Arsenal do next year.

Yeah me too, we've got so much potential with the squad coming together well, youngsters coming through and money to spend - but will we spend where we need to? I'm still not convinced.

City/Utd/Chelsea are in a different level at the moment, the Arsenal/Spurs, then us and Everton.

Spurs will depend hugely on what happens with Bale, but Arsenal have it in their hands to get it together but never seem to take the opportunity.

Absolutely chuffed Higuain is going to Napoli, hopefully Madrid come calling for Suarez not Bale. We can go out and sign Dzeko and Papadopolous and I'll be happy

We need to know one way or the other about Suarez by the end of the week IMO. Get him replaced, or make any remaining transfers with the money we have left if he's staying.

Yeah, but we could do with a LB and a CB. Hopefully we could get those for £20m for the pair. I'd take someone like Soldado for £25m and a quality defender for £15m though.

A DM wouldn't go amiss either

thats the issues Didi - sacrificing 1 player altough world class to add 3 or 4 maybe 5 very good players is of the benefit of the team
