Not bad cheers, had a shíte week last week, fúcked something up bigtime and got another bóllocking but this week is going better so far. Sort of a situation where the more you give the more you get, so I'm trying a bit harder at the moment and it's making life a lot easier.

Other than that, Mrs. HaaK-to-be has chronic depression which isn't much fun but we soldier on

Depression's a tough thing dude one of them "unseen" situations my old man suffers pretty badly with anxiety so altough form the outside everything looks honky dory inside is a very different picture

Pretty shíte, took a long time before I could figure out that the only way to react/behave is to suck it up and just deal with it. Not particularly helpful when I've got a lot on my own plate, but what can you do. Talking about how I feel only makes her feel worse so I don't do that any more!

There's a whole host of reasons why she's got it, issues going back to her folks splitting up when she was a kid, lots of people treating her cráp, too much work too little rest, self esteem issues... bit of a mess. She's getting counselling too so she's trying to work through it.

Cal - yeah she's just started a course of anti-depressants, I don't mind not being able to moan about stuff since from experience it only makes things worse anyway, adds to her guilt. I just moan to other people

Fair play Cal this is her first course of SSRIs, she's on 20mg of Citalopram for the time being. Seems to be working, only side effects have been dizziness and nausea but she's started taking them at night so she sleeps off the aftereffects.

I've realised it's not something that she can control, which makes it a hell of a lot easier to deal with - she's not doing it on purpose so I can't blame her when it gets me down too. I wouldn't blame someone for not being able to walk normally if they broke their leg, so I can't blame her for having big dips in mood when it's not her own doing.
