Fair enough mate, you don't need that stress when you've got your current job as an alternative. You usually know when something's not for you.

My bro is convinced he's going to make it as a tiler, but he's being made to go self-employed and I know for a fact he hasn't factored in all the costs that will go along with it.

He lives in a dreamland when it comes to things like this, and he has feck all else to fall back on if it goes wrong

Sounds like she's a beast in the sack.

My bro's one was selling t-shirts online and on street corners. Ignoring storage costs his target was to sell 8-10 a day. Using the cost/sales figures he gave me I told him he'd be working for about £2.50 an hour, before tax, on a typical 8-hour day.

you cant help some people tho...I tried to give my sister tax advice a couple of years based on I did some accounting training and I do pay and invoicing here...she said that her fella's dad ( a builder) told her something different so they went that route
