This is one part of the report.
Marshall is enjoying life at Hillsborough and would be expected to choose the Owls over the Terriers if both sides were to have offers accepted for his services.
Why would he do this?
Is it because we is fewking MASSIVE and Hudders are a shytey little tin pot club.
If anything he's more likely to head to a Championship club.
Oooh, I dont' know though it's a tricky one ...
... I mean the appeal of playing for an unbeaten side must be immense ...
... having said that, immense appeal is not on a par with MASSIVE appeal.
Where is Huddersfield? I tried google earth but somehow it isn't on there for some reason.
cant wait till a week ob saturday boys. tickets in away endelling well and itll be a cracker. utt
Apparently stoke havent commented by a fee of around 500K is wanted for him.
Seriously, if thats true and we let Huddersfield snap him up cos we wont pay the cash we might as well just give up with a promotion push. No way can we compete if we cant even splash the cash on players who we know are essential to our current form and league position.
This isnt a Le Fondre situation where it would be a 'risk'. Marshall is by far our best player and given the asperations our chairman has for this club we should be willing to pay 3 times this price for him.
If he goes to a champ or prem club then fine, il except that but to go to a team like huddersfield would be an insult
sorry, I will accept that, not except
u have to sign these players while u have chance or it shows theres a lack of ambition to succeed somwhere down the line! 500k is cheap in modern day football!
yet probably your record transfer fee paid!
christ, I actually agree with Tez! <killmenow>
I had a parrot like that! In the end I had to grind it up into a paste and force-feed him!
Marshall worth 500k Le Fondra wasn't we'll see how serious MM is about this promotion push but i do think we will both miss out to a championship club.
£500k+ in January. OOOoooof (winded-smiley) that's gonna hurt someone!
Question is - Has His Garryness built a squad to batter us a way out of league 1 or is he building a squad for us to stabilise the good ship SWFC in the Championship before returning once more to the top flight?
If a club wants to sell a player, they should stick him on E.Bay..
..then we can see the bidding

could sell ginger on Bay Watch tho'..
..
Le Fondre was no more of a 'risk' than siging any player is. If he were somehow guaranteed to get goals or had scored 25 in our division it wouldn't even been worth discussing as he'd be costing millions, not £350k..
People should accept that we missed out there; let's hope we don't do the same when it comes to Marshall.
Go to a championship club? That means us if he stays. Meggo's already stated that MM's willing to splash the cash in January, so promotion is defo the aim! Can't see many present championship clubs bigger than the Wednesday, so it's a no-brainer for Marshall....and he knows we love him!!
Marshall good enough for championship right now?he has been linked to 3 or 4 in championship for jan move according to his agent in the daily mail last week.
Of course he's good enough for the Championship - he's only 20 and already one of the best players at the club in second (i.e. us!).
