I think there are still four or five teams ahead of you
to say you are close to them based on 14 games this season is wrong.
you even went out in the groups of the CL.
That said, you are doing WAY BETTER than my team right now. And I am impressed with City's start.
I hope for a good game tomorrow.
i think madrid are a much better team than city and they've proven it in the CL.
If you played barca you'd get a spanking unless you put 10 behind the ball.

have you been speaking to Adrain Durham Hippo???
We are no where near that level yet, let's see where we are at the end of the season, we can judge our team then.
We have improved year on year for three years and are finally knocking on the door given where we were 12 years ago it's a dream come true just to be competing at the top table.
No a chance.
Real, Barca, Bayern, Milan are all better and maybe Juve as well, they have been really good but haven't been involved in Europe so have been under the radar abit.
Results over the last couple of seasons have shown that City are on a par with Bayern and Juve, Milan were shunted out of the CL by Spurs who we have disposed of easily in our last 2 meetings.
City are not at the same level as Barca or RM at the moment and only the media outlets, deperate for publicity have ever claimed we are.
There are definitely a few teams ahead of you, however I firmly believe you are the top boys in England and you will be the top boys in Europe in a couple of years.
You're very similar to Madrid in that you sign top calibre players for top dollar and make it work but the team ethic is just not a patch on Barcelona, no team is.
I reckon it goes along the lines of:
Barcelona/Real
Real/Barcelona
AC Milan
Bayern Munch
Liverpool (I joke)
You guys.
Agree with this guy ^
We're improving faster than anyone else though. Maybe except for Crawley Town...
Enjoy it though, your team are rapidly on the up, mine too are crawling back to being half decent.
Then you've got the poor little Spurs fans whose team are at their peak and their enjoying their small period of success.
Then you've got United and Chelsea in decline.
Good stuff. Really like City this season now you've taken off the shackles, I've watched most of your games this season and have a soft spot for you lot .
as long as your spot remains soft freddie
it's only the media that have been peddling this myth about city being as good as barca in order to try and build them up to knock them down.
Have we seen this kinda stuff before I wonder...
god, putting city in the top 5 teams in the world when they fall at the first hurdle of the CL after spending almost a billion? ahaha
its clear the players dont have the mentality of a top club otherwise they wouldnt embarrass themselves in the CL.
Giving them a top club status after what 14 games... we shall see after a year or two... Idiots
sorry, who fell at the first hurdle???
and what part of manchester are you from greggy? plymouth grove?
Sauna, dont p iss me off with your pathetic digs, you dont know me so dont judge.
United were unlucky, we outplayed the opposition in almost every match but conceded rubbish goals.
City on the other hand were just outplayed and beaten...
united were unlucky
there isn't an emoticon that does that statement justice
no surprise you used that, where you from joke, its been used a million times and you only joined yesterday .
where you from by the way?
new 2009 city fan?
Man City may be an average squad, but the only team that can amount to Barcelona's superioirity is Canterbury College FC. Me and a friend have been going to all of their home games and have given the team a huge lift, unfortunately they lost 1-0 to MidKent College. The stars of the show was impressive right back (black kid) and the quick paced, quick witted and undercisive left winger. These two show great promise and am looking forward to going to all of their home games, the away games is to much like hard work. Rob Brealy is really terrible
" United were unlucky"
Unlucky over 6 games against inferior opposition - That's a real streak of bad luck.
Cmon Canterbury college, best team in England, unlike average city
Well it didn't take too long until you lot started comparing yourselfs to the best team in the planet
