It seemed a bit strange that Clichy was the one to go with plenty of more likely candidates. We really need to work on our tactics, from the moment Chelsea abandoned the ridiculous high line we were at a loss of how to combat it and by not altering the shape just played into their hands.Yaya was very poor but remains on the pitch at all times, clearly at fault for the equaliser through sheer laziness.I would only play him as an attacking midfielder because our back 4 is shaky enough without the midfield not tracking runners.
Arsenal at home without any fullbacks next, marvellous!!
We have no fullbacks either so no excuses.
"why would anyone fall down when they have a clear shot on goal from about 15 yards (modric excepted)?"
Fnar fnar, chortle chortle
PPLF, we have full backs. We've got Zabba and Kolarov. They were deemed good enough to play in the CL, so they should be good enough to play against Arsenal.
As long as we keep Van Persil under control, we'll be fine
Kolorov is out so Zabaleta will probably have to play left back with either Savic or Kolo at right back
Zabaleta played well last night against Mata but the sheer pace of walnut will leave him for dead so it's a big problem.Only other possibilities are playing nedum at right back or Bridge at left back which certainly isn't ideal
Maybe we will have to try that other tactic and not let them have the ball,it's not cheating
Ah... I'd forgotten Kolarov was injured.
I'd go with Zabs at LB and Savic at RB. He's quicker than Zab and will give waldo some work to do. But as long as we keep someone sat on van plank we'll be okay, he's the danger man.
Ned may be an option, but I don't want Bridge within 500 yards of the pitch.
When will Richards be fit?

You are a one-man team, or so i hear.
Richards will be back for the Arsenal match

Could be a problem when he's househunting in Cheshire in January then?
Can see RVP getting injured courtesy of Kompany or toure
RVP should be fine unlike previous seasons hes been rested alot and hasnt been injured from International duty!
City need to be more weary of Walcott/Gervinho away from home they have caused teams all sort of problems.
Its just a matter of time before both of them start scoring
