Leandro Damiao isn't good enough. Certainly not for the price he'll command.

He is rated at 30 million I think.

Mario Gomez was available 2 years ago for half that price.

Can't think of any Brazilian in the brazilian league worth the hype tbh

Neymar gets hyped up too much.

Yes he's got talent, but you put 2-3 people around him he'll go missing (Olympics final)

Gomez is chit yet somehow finds the back of the net internationally.

I hate him.

Internationally?

Everywhere!

Agreed Ludy.

Falcao is the same, he always scores

He hasn't played this season though, god knows why.

But Mandzukic has scored in almost every match in his absence.

Falcao isn't the same, Falcao is a good player.

Falcao isn't the same, you don't see Gomez doing bicycle kicks or curling a shot into the top corner from outside the box.

For most of a match Gomez will be absolute <dogshite> but then he'll pop up out of nowhere and bundle one into the goal.
His stats don't do him justice.

TBF it's a talent popping up at the right place at the right time. Not everyone can do it.

Mandzukic > Gomez

It isn't luck he's been doing it for years.

He reminds me of Emile Heskey back in the days when he was considered good. Although Heskey had more to his game than Gomez.

I meant the same as in he always scores

posted on 17/10/12

Goals win games, that's why he's so important.

You can have a player who's all around game is brilliant but finds the post better than the Royal Mail.

Poor Israel and their UEFA qualifying

But in the times when he isn't scoring (he obviously doesn't score all the time) he has a negative effect on positive play due to his inability to do anything other than swing his leg at the ball in the direction of the goal.
