nnh - i agree. cant see the celtic board being left with any other option should he fail for two seasons on the trot.

Saying that, if he won the League cup, Scottish Cup and got far in Europe (highly unlikely) the board being as inept as usual may keep him on because he might bring in more cash from Europe

Lennon will be out of a job if he does not win the league this year, even he himself has said that.

He has been given the time and he has been given the resources to build a team capable of winning the league, failure to do so means that he will be sacked.

Lennon was not sacked last year as great progress had been made from the Mowbray tenure and that is what is looked at progress. Despite, not winning the league, Lennon looked as if he had a team who could be capable of doing so. This added to the connection with the supporters, substantial progress from the previous season and the financial implications of sacking him, meant he was given another season, and in my opinion rightly so.

But lose the league this season and he is gone.

I just can't see this Rangers side winning 2 titles in one season.
