Do you really want a player who doesn't want to be there?

Hey that's down to you but personally I want to pay my money to see and cheer for players who want to be with us.
Cheering for a player I know wants to leave would be extremely hard.Wonder what his team mates will think too.

Why any player (apart from the obvious wads of cash) would want to join such a classless and souless club like Fulham`s other club Chelsea is bewildering.

Cockerel

Here ,let me tell you why...or rather let Modric tell you why:

“I would like to go to Chelsea. A lot of players would like to go there and play for Chelsea because it is one of the best clubs in the world, and so do I"

“Chelsea are a great club, they play in the Champions League every year, they have great players, they are ambitious and have an ambitious owner who wants to invest in the club"

Be interesting to see what the fickle mob do IF he is still with us at the start of the season

Cockerel Barfly (U3924)

1. Bigger Club
2. Bigger Crowds
3. Better Chance of Winning Silverware and having success
4. Better Stadium
5. More Prestigious and Successful Club (See *1)
6. Champions League Football
7. Nicer Area
8. Better Fans
9. Higher Wages
10. More Ambition

I've listed 10 reasons off the top of my head, in time I'm sure I could think of 50-100 reasons why he would rather be a Chelsea player than a Spurs one

Knowing he wants to be with Chelsea rather than you I think I'd prefer it if he did stay

If it is true that Levy told him when signing a new contract that he would consider any good offer, it is a bit stupid of Luka to make these coments public. I think he may have shot himself in the foot in doing that, as Levy is unlikely to help him fulfil his 'dream move' after pretty much saying, 'Look teamates, Levy is a bit of a pushover, isn't he?'

I'm quite disappointed in Luka, but he can go a long way towards repairing his relationship with the fans/club by coming out in the next few days and saying he was an idiot, and commiting himself to doing the biz for us next season.

posted on 19/6/11

Yes,he could do that but it will always be in the back of your mind that he thinks you're a small unambitious club.

Dispeller of Myths (U3913)

But he never said that did he? he just thinks the grass is greener on the other side. Obviously anyone want to move to a club willing to spend millions in the transfer market in order to buy silverware!

Only Chelsea and Citah can offer that at present, United spend (sometimes) wisley

bubbles some reasons not to go

1. chelsea hanen't won the champions league

2.man utd have a better chance of winning the league.

3.he wont have to worry about john terry calling round to his house while he is out asking to borrow a cup of sugar while wearing nothing but a condom

posted on 19/6/11

I know you're just trying to be annoying, but I'll humour you this once. If Levy immeadiately sets out to net a world class striker, and stays true to his word and refuses to entertain offers for our best players, surely that would be giving off precisely the opposite impression?
