But isn't Podolski more of a Keane type player? We need a SPECIAL PLAYER who can play up top on his own and hold the ball up like Adebayor.

Chet - Podolski is very much in the mould of Keane...but the Keane of years ago...he is a real talent and i dont go in for always needing a player who can hold the ball up, hopefully we are past hoofing the ball up field now Crouch has gone

Because like me, we both get extremely fustrated every transfer window in recent yrs for our lack of ambition. Yes we have pulled off master strokes with parker and adebayor and even VDV but we could of still really gone for a top class centre back and another forward a long time ago.....
