The horse m4nure is from this delusional media source in this instance, and not Steve Kean for once.
"While results need to be explained, hopefully it will end the cowardly personal nature of the attacks on Kean which have led him to tell his children to stay away from Ewood Park."
What a stinking crock of turnips.
The "breathing space" has been provided as the protesters wanted all round better communication between the club and the fans. A couple of meetings have been set up in the next week or so, so there will be no organised protest (this isn't to say that people won't be chanting Kean Out anyway). If the meetings fail to happen, or if the fans don't like what they here then I'msure they will start back up quick enough.
Anyway glad to see that the Express has changed the article. Originally the story was this

Mentioning our cowardly fans scaring keans kids BS again!!
But has now changed to this

Should read:
"Under-fire Blackburn boss Steve Kean wants to meet the campaigning supporters who want him out of Ewood Park - in return for being allowed to live".

The comment at the bottom by isp82 is good
Is there not a case for legal action by the protestor's aginst the express for libel (thats right isn't it, slander is verbal?) Surely accusing a group of people of making personal threats that could affect his family is wrong..
At least I hope it is, would just be more confirmation Rovers is no longer Rovers if its true, I know its in jest BWH but I really dislike things like that. Maybe I'm an Idealist but try to see the good in everyone and at least treat everyone as a fallible human (there are some cases where I can't do this, but they certainly don't cover those associated with football!)
Why would you think its in jest?
If he's genuine about it, go and meet him and tell him what you think instead of all the girly whinging on here and hiding behind bed sheets at Ewood.
In fact you'll probably all boycott his meeting in protest
Reebok, will you be going to watch Megson's Sheffield Wednesday spank you in the Championship next season?

If we do not get 6 points from next to games i think we will go down ,6 points are more inportant than Kean protests

Whats the point of meeting him? I can see how that'll go:
"Steve you're a rubbish manager"
"But we're enterting the opponents box 20 times a match"
"Yes but you're a rubbish manager"
"But I've increased the value of the squad"
"But you're rubbish"
"But we've collected the most points in the league from losing positions"
"Right, had enough of this."
Kean later to the press:
"I've sat down and had a meeting with the minority of fans against me, and I've convinced them I'm the right man to take the club forward."
Press and opposition fans reaction:
"Fair play to him for having the balls to meet the fans, he sounds like a decent bloke and they should give him more of a chance."
