About Maynard:
It sounds like it's happening but might be a slow process caused by Bristol, according to sportsdesk
I'll be delighted if we get Maynard. I can't see what news we'd hear about him tomorrow though, we already know we're making a bid.
I hope it's about Nugent, I'm pretty sure he's already agreed terms and I'm not convinced the stories about Premier League Clubs hold any water. I think he'd be a good signing.
It'll all be a load of tosh as usual
Apparently it's about a dozen transfer targets. So still interest and no actual signings.
this is great news! Thanks for the info.
No news at all, other than we've targetted a dozen players but dont expect to get them all. Who said no news is good news? In this instance, no news is frustrating!
The good news on many of our transfer targets seems to be that they exist, although little more than that. The Mercury are following the Maynard bid in particular because that signing would be popular with the fans, although even this appears to be in pre-bid stage.
Sven's getting a tough lesson here in how difficult it is to attract players of the calibur he wants to the Championship.
