i got an assist for junioramo in the last game
where did you lot get to btw?
Lol go you
I think most of us left :s haha
Not a clue why
But next Friday you will be on?
Is that team goal our equaliser in injury time from their FK?
yeah i should be, but these stupid exams are taking up my time... do universities not know how important fifa is? lol
I think it may have been.
Was a good goal
Robin haha.
I have Alevels in Jan
Friday is my only playing time
what course you applying for at uni? i'm trying for engineering or something.
Accounting and Finance...Want to be a chartered accountant.
Are you not at Uni?
nice
nah, not yet,i should be, but i flopped my first year
i'm doing well now though.
haha I flopped my ASlevels last year too
But hopefully get into Uni, got a few offers.
Whee you apply to?
gonna apply at nottingham, loughborough for definite. might do manchester, sheffield, birmingham for my others. i've left my ucas a bit late, gonna have to decide quick what about you?
Quite late!
Well i only have two Alevels so poo ones im applying to
I applied Birmingham City though.
Isnt the ucas deadline in feburary? it was when i was in college
Toplad, In your 1st year i loved the course but the pointless accounting formulars that are and never will be used in common practice will almost certainly destroy any love you once had for accounting
Im in my final year but completely wasted my life chosing this course, id recc you really research it before comitting (like a hot girl )
Ucas deadline is in mid Jan sometime
Really that bad? :\
Haha. No seriously I love anything to do with numbers. Accounting seems perfect for me. I did work experience and loved it lol.
Seems mad, but i did!
Also the money aint half bad
I love anything to do with numbers

Maths n Science
Im sure its feb, hmmm!
Mate i thought the same thing, maths and all things numbers prior to uni was my thing
Acc n fin doesnt really require you to be able that good with numbers tho.
In your first year you'll learn the important stuff like drawing up financial statements but from then onwards its pointless things like cost centres, budget control(pretty important but theres like a million diff types you need to learn *yawn*),abc(not the alphabet) and a load of other pointless stuff.
Yh the moneys good but hardly any of the theory ive learned in uni is actually used in the work place
If i could go back i probly wouldve studied 'business with finance', not accounting n fin and then changing to finance with business.
It gives you a lot more vaired range of study
What a great ambassador for my uni id make
Its Jan, google it! haha
Ahh right haha
Yeah that does sound pointless tbh.
Haha...hmm what Uni did you go?
Also did you do any work experience beforehand. Also what are you doing now if you don't mind me asking?
Toplad
I did this 'ifs' qualification while doing my alevels but i didnt have and still dont really have any real life experience in acc but Ive done a bit of book keeping last year (just voluntary) but i dont really count that. Was just something i chose to do to give myself another option after i fin.
Im in my last year atm, unis in southampton.
Im 100% my career path will not venture down the chartered acc route, maybe taxation
Best advice i can give is, is keep your optins open.
Uni have these quotas which mean they don't allow students to change degrees after your 1st year as it limits the place of a new student(they love newbies) so just make sure you chose wisely
^
Sounds like something my mum would say
Ahh right. Yeah I see.
Southampton is a good uni right?
Why not? Taxation seems quite good too tbh.
Yeah will keep my options open.
I have researched and I can't find anything else I liked
You're maturing TFB
Solent actually, tbh it is quite far down the table but its only been a uni since 05 or 06 so pretty new.
Defo keep your options open
Whens the next vp game?
Also it would be pretty good to record the games n post em on youtube.
Oh right. Yeah saw that Uni, it's pretty decent
yeah will do, thanks man.
Next Friday
I would love to record them, and then post the best game every week, but i don't have a HD PVR :\
For some reason i always expected there to be an easier and cheaper way of doing it.
Ill look into it and let you know what i find. Spending £150+ on a pvr
I wish you could automatically save a game on Fifa...kind of like COD..
But yeah...im not going to be a big youtuber so don't see the point haha
great article toplad even though there was a few matches missing idc
