£20M, £16M or £12M what ever the price was it was too much. The guy just doesn't look a very good player. He has just been taken off after a pretty dismal display. All he did was go and collect the ball from the center backs and then play an obvious short pass sideways. both Jones and Smalling offered more going forward.

He hasn't had the best of games, none of them have (as I write they score!)....but he's played where and how pearce wanted to play him, doubt we'll use him like that so not worried really
