Tough one..... wouldn't have VDV on the right as we need to keep cashley occupied. Thought about having Bale there (fitness permitting) but I think he'd be best served taking bosingwa to the cleaners on our left. Niko probably hasn't got the match sharpness for such a big game (although he has the brain for it) so not sure about him.

Need Luka in the middle to show chelsea exactly what they are missing so I'd probably have pienaar there and see how it goes and let him and bale swap wings depending on how the game progresses

That's not a bad shout actually, would seriously restrict chelsea and that pie-eating, toe-punting, deflection/speculative hit specialist lampard would be tracked all the way. Might be a bit too narrow going forward though.

Would 5-3-2 work against chelsea? if they restrict our wing backs then i dont see the formation working. IF we do play the formation we finished with at stoke then i woulf play this:

I like the 5-3-2 idea, and something v similar has worked recently but I suggest he he will start with 4-4-2. 4-4-2 will work against chelsea

Didn't see the game but have read that we didn't open them up as much, especially with Lennon going off injured. Bosingwa is the definite weak link if he plays, decent going forward - shocking in defence. Bale will catch him out of position at some stage!

Have fun being run ragged by Ramires and Sturridge on the counter tomorrow.

That is the formation I would go for, It makes sense to me, although I cant see Harry starting like that, I would think he will go 4-4-2 with Modders on the right.
