I've always said Cesc was a great player but a poor Captain. Having said that, a great captain is someone who leads on the pitch and not someone who organises the day out to Disney World.

The team definitely seems a much more cohesive bunch under RVP than it did under Cesc so yes I am in favour of RVP's captaincy style.

Acording to vermaelin under cesc the team were not bonding socialy but under rvp its a different story!

I'll never understand this bizarre need for Arsenal fans to have their players all playing happy families together. You guys come up with all kinds of examples to show that your players invite each other round for tea and cakes or to be Godfather to each other's kids.
